So, today was my first day of hig hschool... and I don't think it went well. :( I was late to alomst every class and didn't get lunch until my lunch bell was over. And, of course, we had the "basics block" in marching band, and it was wayy hot, GOD... but we had fun in Honors Earth Science, where he had to discuss profanity and we could use it... to see if it wa allowed in certain contexts. :D That was fun, and my friend Lisa was in there too, and we were giggling... :D That was awesome...
Did anyone tell you that its traditional to swing new students by the ankles from upstairs windows on their second day?
But dire warnings aside, you'll get used to it. Turning up late for class will be a bitch for the first week or so, but once you know your way around a bit better you'll be fine.
Secondly, what the fuck are you doing discussing profanity in what sounds like a science class? Shouldn't you be dissecting corpses or sticking metal objects in electrical power pack outlets (surprisingly fun, actually. It makes pretty sparks)?
But anyway, I wish you luck, and I hope that eventually you'll stop needing it.

What, no stuffings into lockers? No getting thrown out of the locker room naked? No melvins?
High school has changed a lot since I went. :(
If it makes you feel better, this isn't my first day of classes, but it is my first day of rain in Charlottesville, and I got drenched.

Feel free to piss around for the first few years. Just get over it before you have your real exams (GCSE's). Don't worry about drinking either, the teachers won't even touch that as long as you don't puke or anything. Damn i need to catch up in maths.

That's it? I thought you were saying it didn't go well? It only gets worse from there until you're a senior.:p
And even then, it's not all it's cracked up to be....
Congratulaions you survived day one of the next few years. Secondary ( High) School is great. The friends you make, the enemies you fight and now as I'm in the final year and the 5th oldest student in the school we know have absolute power over the younglings. Making the new kids walk into the pond, giving wrong directions etc...Its gonna be great.....don't look at me like that, its tradition.

You're a freshman? Awww, that's cute.
I'm starting senior year tomorrow. A mixture of happiness and fear has gripped me...

...I don't know how to respond to that...
A melvin could seriously backfire, I think... 'Specially if you try to do it in the morning. Accidentally grabbing someone's morning glory. Ick.

Typically, any discomfort at grabbing someone's package is offset by the discomfort the poor shmuck whose package is getting grabbed is feeling. :p

I'd appreciate your 9th grade days, it's your last time to enjoy your near ending childhood and once you loose it, it's gone forever.
Enjoy them and cherish them.

and remember
no one gives a fuck about your permanent record. at least not until you are revealed to be a serial killer 25 years from now.
so when that great idea occurs to you, DO IT, as long as no one will get permanently disabled or killed.

My advice is never skip class, get good grades and only smoke pot and drink on the weekends. That way if you get busted, you have good grades to fall back on to get you a free pass.

On the other hand, you can try to enjoy what's left of your childhood.

You and me both. I can't wait for senior year though...Paris Hilton's brother is an arriving sophmore this year, and I'm going to try and have a little...fun with him. Let's just say I've got a lot of connections with the Wrestling Team.

Lockers in my school are about 5 inches wide..
You can't fit a freshman in them, but you can fit 15 clowns..

Could have been worse, sweetie. Still, here are some tips that should help you get through High School...
1) Don't comb your hair
2) Only change clothes once every other week.
3) Walk around looking at the ground and mutterring to yourself.
4) Make sure the only audible word is "blood".
5) Display an unnatural fascination with your biology specimens.
6) Occasionally blurt out "no, I could never do.... that."
7) Go to your prom in a dress covered in fake blood.
It won't make you many friends, but it will keep the bullies from bothering you. :D
