BOULDER, Colo. (Reuters) - Colorado prosecutors won't charge schoolteacher John Mark Karr with the murder of 6-year-old JonBenet Ramsey after tests showed his DNA does not match DNA found in her underwear, two local TV stations reported on Monday.


Denver's KUSA and KCBS both cited unnamed sources close to the investigation in the reports, which came just hours before Karr, 41, was due for his first Colorado court appearance.

I know- I cant freaking take it. I'm all for them finding and sucessfully prosecuting the correct killer, but I cant listen to every dam nstep towards it.

The other day, I flipped on the news during lunch and actually heard reporters stating the pilot on the plane this cocksucker was going to be on had filed its flight plan but it didnt mean it would fly to a specifi airport and blah,blah,blah- Now they'll make another movie about this dick and it will go on and on.
The real killer is probably pissing in his pants- or some other little kid's pants-laughing his ass off.

There were always rumors that the parents had something to do with it, and I always wondered about that, but when they picked up Karr the father was waffling back and forth about whether or not he'd known him. Also, why did it take so long to test DNA? There were holes in his account of the story from the moment they picked him up...

I dunno. Just can't see it as being that simple.

It was just a publicity stunt anyway.. though hes a fucking creep, he only did this for media recognition.

You know what's funny though? Someone like Karr: facing first degree murder, kidnapping, and sexual assault charges, gets the royal treatment while he's in captivity (all that fancy shit on the plane ride, deluxe lavish food and wine, friendly chitchat with the authorities, etc).. I put some art on a wall downtown and I get treated like absolute shit in captivity, yelled at, cursed at, the works.

As for Karr, I think if I ever saw him on the street I would push him in the path of a bus.

Well, was the wall private property or publc? Either way unless you have the proper consent, it can and was considered to be vandalism. I think they got tired of the "taggers" that usually deface proprety and decided to just start cracking down on everyone who paints on walls.

Err.. no, he's being sent back to Califoirnia to face charges stemming from his fleeing after pleading guilty to kiddy porn charges in 2001.

April 13: Karr was arrested on five misdemeanor counts of possession of child pornography, the Sonoma County sheriff's office said.

April 17: Karr pleaded not guilty to the charges, according to court documents.

Oct. 5: After a series of court hearings, Karr was released from jail, but was ordered to report to a probation officer and avoid child pornography, children and places where children congregate, such as schools, beaches and parks. The court records in the case were sealed.

November: A judge issues a restraining order, compelling Karr to stay 100 yards away from his wife and three children for three years.

December: A warrant was issued for Karr's arrest after authorities said he violated the terms of his supervised release.
