Which kind of chili pepper do you prefer? Common choices include (grouped by species):
Species: - capsicum annuum
Bell Peppers
Jalapeño
etc...
Species: - capsicum frutescens
Cayenne
Tabasco
etc...
Species: - capsicum chinense
Habanero
Scotch Bonnet
etc...
I've recently started using chopped raw habanero (in place of a good habanero (http://www.elyucateco.com/) hot sauce (http://www.mezzetta.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Category_Code=gourmetspec)) as a condiment on eggs and such at breakfast. At first, I chopped it up into tiny pieces, which produced excellent heat and got the sinuses and nose running quite well :D . Later, I chopped it up into pieces slightly larger, and this time was hesitant about finishing the meal, with eyes beginning to water  . Third time I tried slightly larger still and got to the point where the physical pain was quite intense, my brain producing a sensation something to the effect of "that should actually be hurting a lot more;" I started to feel somewhat lightheaded http://www.clicksmilies.com/s0105/sprachlos/speechless-smiley-020.gif. (edit: I also failed to wear gloves that day while preparing breakfast, and then went and stuck a finger in my eye a couple hours later. Oops. :( )
