OK, so you click a link to get around these forums, say the one to get back to "General." It takes a long as time to load. Then you get a popup asking "Do you want to open "displayforum.php" in <default text editor> or save it to disk.

Anyone else have this happen?

I got that, and several other new and fun errors, so many times during the changeover that I simply quit posting for the night.

Sometimes on sites where the pages take a long time to load, that thing pops up for me asking where I want to save it, even when it's perfectly fine HTML pages which Firefox should be able to load in itself. So I think it's a problem with Firefox and when pages take too long to load, rathen than simply with Jolt.

I get that occasionally on a wide range of sites. I think it's caused when the server responds so slowly that some of the headers are lost on the way and Firefox doesn't realise it's an HTML page.

Sounds like the PHP parser running on jolt momentarily had a hiccup and didn't send HTML headers with the file - causing firefox to interpret it as you wishing to download it.
