I am very tempted to build one of those when classes start next week, and release it in one of my engineering class lectures. The only problem is finding flies around here. Everything is so clean, I haven't seen a fly all summer.

Corner them in a window. When I was a kid I used to catch flies to feed to a pet anole I had.

My dad taught me how to do this. It actually works.

Might work better with dragonflies. Bigger wing-spans.
