Which type of fishing do you like best?

I've fly fished one time and loved it. I'm thinking of doing it as a hobby when I retire. I also like fishing with a rod and reel with "craink" bait. What type do you like best?

I enjoy getting on a party boat at Point Pleasant, NJ and fishing for fluke or even just bluefish. Bass fishing in ponds and lakes is fun too, but I prefer to get out in the ocean with some good friends and see what weird stuff we can catch. Last time out my buddy Charlie caught a stargazer. The mate on the boat said it could deliver an electric shock.

I'd imagine the one where I could actually catch a fish would be my favorite - I only fished once off the coast of NC, way out in the ocean. Caught a big one, too, which our AP biology class and I ate on our way back to shore after one of the crew cooked it for us on the afterdeck. Delicious! (I'm glad I took a picture before we devoured it! It was thiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiis big, too!)

I fish the same way you do Cetlund.
I use chicken liver as bait, or I spray my lures with WD-40 (the catfish like that)

I've never been fishing. I like my fish dead, battered and with chips. :)
i've fished with Cane and with Rod and reel. but i really wanna try Bow Fishing. :cool:

I went trout fishing this morning by the old mill. Just got back an hour ago.
Unfortunately, all the rain seems to have scared the fish -- only caught one small carp, which was thrown back. :(
I'm going to go for Bluefish in Long Island Sound later this week.

For the actual rod and reel part, I like using lures. For catching fish, I like to use worms.
Fly fishing is garbage. There's no point in doing it when using worms is 4 times as effective.
What type do you like best?
Spear fishing. More skill, less sitting by a rod waiting for the line to twitch.

Using car batteries and jumper cables work too and is quieter. Not as much fun tho.

Went fishing with the boss yesterday. Caught around 300 fish, mostly stripers and sand bass. Kept the 30 biggest ones, filleted them all, and will be consuming their flesh shortly.
