Uhhh, quite a bit of the /b/ community is also a driving force in the ytmnd community, the two are interlinked to some degree. At least from the ones I know.

Yeah I remember when so many were bitching that Raptor Jesus was not worth the K GET and just a dumb picture. But meh, I find it a classic meme, perhaps not as old or famous as other ones.

Also the 4chan /b/ was just DOS'd a few days ago by the disgruntled ones who hate moot and his furry loving rules, which they deem a betrayal to the ideals of /b/ . I know the ones who participated, the same ones I know who did the Biting Beaver and also the ebaums world (this one because of a percieved ytmnd slight by hosting one without credits, like I said the two are interconnected by many people and groups).
Anyway most of who I know took part in the exodus to the Russian 2chan /b/, and it is hilarious the Russians from one day to the next seeing them cope with the invasion of the American /b/tards.

Also perhaps the difference in popularity is based on age here as well. As you can see by Raptor Jesus's quotes, he is more based on the gaming and hacker lifestyle. That is why he won popularity on /b/ after he was spawned, and still on ytmnd. He also has quite a following in Ogame, with one of the most powerful person's, also coincidentially an affirmed /b/tard whose ingame handle is Raptor Jesus.

Anyway being as I belong more to the gamer and hacker scene anyways, raptor jesus is more my thing then that crude noodly thing :p
