Groups including Concerned Women for America are organizing to try to get the government to ban hotels from allowing pay per view porn. What business is it of theirs what a hotel guest watches? Maybe he's been away from his wife for a few days and his banana juice is all backed up. Let the poor bastard rub one out for chrissakes! Unless, of course, those concerned women would like to volunteer to help ease the discomfort of horny travelers.

Oh, the stupidity...
Every hotel I've ever been to (except in Europe) has had high speed Internet for free with the room.

Why pay for porn, when you can download it for free?

Better yet, you can always hook up with someone via a swingers' site.

This is what you get when a government tries to pass of its censorship as moral indignation. I'm sure these people mean well, but honestly this is just nonesense.

For pay-per-view porn don't you need to pay to view it? If you don't wanna see it then don't buy it.

According to the article linked in the OP, the leader of the movement is a "self-described former sex addict." I guess he feels that most people are like him, unable to control themselves when presented with the possibility of salacious movies.

And he's too ugly to get laid, and too stupid to download porn from the Internet for free.

A couple important points:

1) Concerned "women" for America is, in fact, run by men and for men. If you really want to ask them to help you "rub one out," that's up to you, just be aware of what you're in for.

2) In The Theocratic States of America, your sexual activities are the business of any conservative busy-body who cares to ask. Your genitals belong to The Party. Non-procreative sexual acts are tantamount to treason. Why won't you think of the children?

So they're transvestites or something? That's false advertizing.

Wow. All Nordic hotels have free broadband?

The major chains I've been to, at least. I don't know what their subsidiaries outside the Nordic countries do, though... even if Radisson SAS seem to have Free Broadband throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa (http://www.radissonsas.com/cs/Satellite?c=Page&cid=1123657349049&pagename=RadissonSAS%2FPage%2FrsasSimpleArticle).

Whats the cost of a room for a night?

You don't seriously expect me to know their rates?
