DOYLINE, La. - A series of explosions and a fire at a plant where military bombs are disassembled forced the evacuation of more than 1,000 people from nearby schools and a jail, authorities said.

Accidents do happen. Given the nature of what they do there I suppose we can feel some irony though.

Waste not want not. We wouldn't want to run out of explosives. There are terrorist children in the middle east who have to go days between explosions.

Please tell me a good reason why such a facility should be placed inside the city limits?

Surely you're not arguing for free for all nuclear proliferation, particularly to countries whose leadership has proven a mite unstable at best, and down right evil at worst?

We invented the nuke, we're keepin 'em. Though far far fewer than we used to have, and it's not like we ever use the blasted things.

They're all different. Some just have smoke. Some have nice secondaries. In a valuable few, you can even see body parts flying through the air. God, I love those.

I'm not saying N Korea or Iran will just say, "Well if they don't have Nukes then we just won't bother building our own".

But surely you can agree that the US's position is a little hypocritical.
