I have seen two stories about this attack on both CNN and the BBC websites, but I have not seen anything on the television or in the NY Times, it strikes me wierd that this would not have made headlines on the television, (instead they choose to talk about Tom Cruise), if this is infact a true story, then why hasnt it been in the papers or on the TV?

Becuase no one cares about the Romanians, I assume.

Yes, the story is true as far as I know. I've seen the articles and heard several radio bits about it.

What's with this ignorance about news stories lately?

First it was "OMG! Iran shelled Iraq!", a story that's been in the news since May.

Now this, when the was a big thread on it (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=496948) that was active less than 24 hours ago.

Well I was asking if it was really all it was cracked up to be, because I havent seen anything on the tv or papers, If it really bugs you so much that there more **gasp** than one topic on a news story, than just ignore it.

Doesn't bug me at all that there're 2 threads (might bug the mods if it goes on).

What I was getting at was the ignorant people who get all in a huff and ask why some story hasn't been in the news, when in fact it has been, and they just don't know about it because they can't be arsed to follow the news.

If people like yourself opened and actually read a news paper regularly, you wouldn't be bitching about this (and the Iran shelling Iraq story) not being in the news.

I have read some newpapers, The NY Times, and The Boston Globe, plus I have checked almost all the news stations that I get, and heard nothing about it except on the internet, so sorry If I didnt not look through every single newspaper I could think of to find this story.

Are there two Irans ?

BTW, stop reading the new york times. It's bumfluff, specifically written to have no useful information whatsoever.

Let me help you.

"To"

"We went TO Paris."

"two" (one more than one.)

There are two dogs.

"Too" (IE, also, as well, including...)

"There are cats in Paris, too."

Dont be flippant, and illiterate.
