taking a break from all the poli/religous/hate threads, here's a question for you.
suppose this world had no humans, no simians of any form. each animal became intelligent. now they did keep their animal instincs... Carnivors still hunt the Herbivors, Insectivors still eat insects... but now, each living thing, animal, insect, birds... etc. are intelligent.
they all gained opposeable thumbs, allowing for the use of tools, they all learned to communicate, and they all can indulge in "human" activities.
What animal would you be? no poll since there are too many answers to poll.
some notes:
1) guns are seen as a crutch. only those who are inept at hunting use guns. (yes the NRA exsists)
2) Domestication is a genetic condition. It has the same stigma/Public view as Homosexuality.
3) Interspecies Marriage is viewed like Same Sex Marriage. now in this case, Species is not just Wolf marrying Fox, but also Herbivore marrying Carnivore, Insectivore marrying Insect... etc...
4) Society is broken into two sections. Civilized, those that walk like humans, use tools like cars, phones, computers... etc, wear clothes...
and the Wild where they can be real Animals... they can still talk... if they choose to.
5) preying on (eating) someone is legal. Killing without eating the person is illegal (and a waste)
all being said and done... I would be a cat.
