I've signed up with Yahoo Personals for six month, why, because I have too much money, with too much time. So far I've been contacted by two women, but haven't really had any chance to talk to them. I think my picture scared them off. Anyways I'm not really expecting this to work, and probably won't renew, anyone else ever tried personals as a way to meet the same or opposite sex?

I've debated using personals but never bother. Rumour has it they work well, but I've never met someone in person who swears by them...

I did it once. She turned out to be on the run from a bench warrant for failure to appear and wound up copping a plea in exchange for testifying against her ex-husband on counterfeiting and methamphetamine charges. Then three months later, I met my current girlfriend (at work) and we've been together nearly six years.

best place to pick up chicks is buses and trains. if have to sit beside someone for 20 mins, you might aswell talk to them.

or museums, cause then you know in advance what they like by what they are looking at. if they have interests then they might have a good personality.

i find bars and clubs bad, cause even if you find a hot bird that is willing to come with you, chances are she likes shit music and is a culture retard. thus making walking her home extra painfull. i insist on walking women home.

I tried the E Harmony free personality test, and they couldn't find a single person that would match with me, now that's just sad. :p

I've met women who are either shallow, brain dead in things of politics and stuff beside Hollywood and fashion, or they're just looking for someone to be the daddy for their babies that they had out of wedlock. I swear you go into Yahoo's North Carolina Chat, and it will seem like North Carolina has the highest population of single mothers. I'm sorry but I am in no position to help support a child.

Eh, not really. About once in a blue moon I do meet a woman who I can talk to and enjoy talking to. Yes, I probably do have high standards, and I'm proud of that.

Well I brought the subscription on Friday, the same day I also started my subscription to Coast to Coast AM website so I can listen to the show online. I have met one or two women that seems nice. However, I only talked to one of them twice. The second one have not had a chance to talk to her yet, but that could just be because we're on diffrent schedules. I'm just trying not to get my hopes up, everytime I get my hopes up I get hurt, so my hopes are staying down. If it stays down, then the possibility of getting hurt decreases.
