Well my contract with Alltel is almost up, and I am looking for a new service. So far I've looked at alot of companies, Verizon, Sprint etc. Doesn't really seem to be any big diffrence, small one really. I guess I want the most anytime minute for a resonable price. Right now Alltel is charging $80 a month for their service, so we want to aim lower than that. So far, I like T-Mobile, $50.00 a month for 1,000 anytime minute, but I would like to know what yall would suggest. This would also be a good time for me to get a new cell phone, so feel free to suggest on that too.

Amusing bit of trivia: Sprint Global One recieved so many prank phone calls from Irish teens, especially in Cork, that they no longer have a freephone number here(though I haven't tried in ages).

Yea, but I would have to buy 80 pre-paid cell phone in order for that to work.

"What is Blue tooth?"

If I told you id have to kill you!!!!

But really, Its enables wireless stuff, like if your computer also had blue tooth, you could download pics you took and other things directly onto the computer wirelessly, More importantly though, if you ever want to get a handless headset, as long as the headset is within 30 feet of the phone, it will work, The salesmen said a bunch of other stuff Bluetooth was good for, but I cant remember it all. But really, if your looking for a good phone, get the V3 RAZr, its easy to use, and works great.

Just from personal experience, steer clear of Sprint, they double charged me 4 times and took 30 days each time to refund the charge to my checking account and when they merged with nextel they "lost" my records for 2 weeks and turned my phone off, by the time the figured everything out they had already reported on my credit report that I was delinquent and I am still trying to get them to fix that.

In addition their tech support is in India and none of them speak English well enough to really help you. *nothing against India, but against Sprint.

the only use for Bluetooth is when you sit in pubs and get random things sent to you I myself have received a random penis and lots of people having sex with one of the participants using a camera phone

If you're in the USA you should consider this. My buddy who works for US airways says everybody on the flight crews uses either Cingular or Verizon because only those two companies actually have coverage in most of the USA. Of the two only Cingular uses GSM technology which works overseas.

Good thing (to me, anyway) about Cingular and Verizon is that they're both union, and Cingular is especially union-friendly.

cingular is good. i like them, but i had at&t before they merged, and my phone still says at&t. strange, isnt it?

why get a fancy expensive phone with something you will never use (e.g., bluetooth)? just get a phone that has good reception and does the basics, like my phone. the only extra is a radio. :p
