Although I'm primarily METAL, every now and then I like to jam some different tunes! I'm particularly interested in two (2) genres! What are some ass kickin' blues tunes and what are some good ol' boy, shit kickin' country tunes (actually, you can suggest country love songs, too)?

If I Had My Way I'd Tear this Building Down Blind Willie Johnson. I got it on a compilation and I used to listen to it really loud while building prints as a projectionist as a sort of, "It's too early for you motherfuckers to be bothering me" song, then someone lit me up to that guy again later and I realised I liked a lot of his stuff.

You can find a recording of it in the public domain at archive.org, here. (http://www.archive.org/details/Building).

It's some nice, dirty blues recorded on bad equipment from a gruff voiced man on a beat up guitar with almost unintelligible lyrics. I fucking love it.

EDIT: I was reading the notes on the archive page and realized that it's more unintellegable than I knew-I didn't know it was about Samson and Deliliah or that the Grateful Dead had done that song later on. I haven't heard the Dead version, but I'm sure I'd prefer Blind Willie's frog voice version. The other songs they have on there by Blind Willie are totally worth it, too. Motherless Children Have Hard Times smokes.
