So i was going to put a new song on my myspace, but instead off add, i cliked download on accident, then i was confused, so i pressed save to disk thinking it might be new thing. But then it opened itunes, and i realized i had downloaded it, and i dont think [hope not] i paid for it.
Is that legal? I wont do it agian even if it was, but im kinda worried that im gonna get arrested or something. it was an accident, so do you think i can get in trouble?

you were on myspace it’s the gallows for you

And I doubt they care Surely they would of somehow stopped you from being able to do that if they didn’t want you to do it

Just follow this safety precaution: take a powerful magnet, and run it across your hard drive. That'll make you untraceable.

No one's going to care if you download just one song illegally. It's the folks who download thousands upon thousands who they worry about. While I've given up piracy, and wouldn't recommend it to anyone, what you've done is the equivalent of stealing a bit of lint out of a pair of pants pockets at the department store.

Furthermore, Myspace sucks. Get off of it.

Take same magnet across screen. Makes it unusable to anyone but you.

Don't worry about it. They won't come after you for one song. Now do the same thing about 5 or 6 thousand times and you'll grab their attention.

Not with modern hard drives it won't. Drilling holes in it, on the other hand...

No worries ... if any FBI agents come to question you, just flip out and kill them with your shuriken.

Well technically he has programmed a sewing machine to make an exact copy of that piece of lint (which was copyrighted for some reason). Stealing implies that the owner of the stolen object is no longer in possession of it, piracy is a form of copyright infringement.
