Now the question is does Clark's nation on NS (becuase it simply follows that he has one) have a alternate/secret identity?
I imagine, being Superman and in a way the ultimate godmodder his nation is a bit of a godmodding nation. "Pfff...my soldiers can't be brought down by bullets...I mean, they have special armor...dammit Kal-el, remember that you're supposed to be one of these fleshy bruise bags..."

superman is able to read a book in a matter of seconds,
why is it taking him so long to read jennifer government?
really he must just be staring at the page for awhile, or maybe he is using x ray vision through the book to check out the girl a couple of rows down.

Because it's Clark Kent, not superman. Keeping up appearances, see.
Also, the pic at the top is linked directly from his blog if anyone actually cares about stealing bandwith. http://www.maxbarry.com/2006/05/news.html is where you can find his comments on it, and signed copy of the comic.

Don't answer that. Let me just do this myself, the Potarian way.

Can't very well read at super speed in the middle of a monster truck rally with friends near him, now does he?
His cover would be blown. Everybody would finally look past the glasses.

"I pity the fool who thinks Mr. T just says 'I pity the fool!'"
The funniest thing he's ever said.
Actually, that's not even remotely true, but it made me laugh.

Actually, no. This is way funnier (http://www.pauldavidson.net/2005/11/02/mr-t-likes-the-double-shot-espresso/). (just found that when actually googling "pity the fool" :p ).
(Unless of course that's what you meant and you were just too stoned (or not) to remember it correctly.)

Nah, I was thinking of a clip I saw in a montage once, but that was pretty cool. And stoned only effects short term memory. And I still haven't found my lighter.

Yep
According to the IP pattern ... there's a STRONG possibility that Clark is actually
Conscience and Truth
The UN abassadorship
Corneliu
and a nominal probability of
The Red Arrow
