Duke Anti-Nuke

Interesting game. You play as Duke Anti-Nuke tasked by his sensei to run around collecting the facts about nuclear weapons and power plants (the terrorists hid them in the opening cutscene. In orange shapeshifting folders with Fs on them. Throughout nuclear powerplants) and cordoning of nuclear power plants so they can become safe energy renewable power plants.

You have a time limit, and if you don't complete it in time, the terrorists (who are slowly burrowing their way through the ground to the nuclear power plant in a giant drill thingy) will win.

Some good clean hippy fun, that shows important truths, such as that if nuclear guards catch children, they will cause them to split into four green silhouettes and then disappear, and that nuclear power plants regularly have toxic liquids dripping from the ceiling.

Any other obvious propoganda games spring to mind?

I'm not sure it's wrong about the toxic liquids dripping from the ceiling. Footage shot at the Springfield nuclear plant by anonymous tipster Homer S. Shows the same thing.

Pretty much everything with an agenda is boring as fuck.

Sounds pretty boring. After all what fun is it when the facts are that nuclear power is a safe, clean, abundant, and stable source of energy?

This is a terrible game... can't even get out of the hard one.

The 'facts' are wrong.

Only enough uranium in the world for 4 years of fossil fuel replacements? BS.
It picks on the UK and says if they harnessed tidal power they can get 1/5th of their energy from that. Too bad it wrecks the coasts and endangers so many animals huh?

It picks on wind farms and says it is estimated that up to 2x the worlds energy needs for 2020 would be set. Anyone realize how much that would take to build?

It also takes a shot at wind power and says it is about 2x as loud as a refrigerator from 950 ft. That's pretty loud when you are close to it, but what about the eye sore?

It goes into all this crap about how their is so much nuclear weapons ready to launch and how powerful they are and even throws in terrorist attempts to blow up a reactor to kill people.

Its just pointless and dumb game that really isn't fun as it is annoying to me.

Indeed. Most estimates are in the 10-30 years range.

Indeed. Most estimates are in the 10-30 years range.

And even those estimates don't take into account Breeder technology. With that, we can make nuclear fuel. Having just four of those type of reactors worldwide equals enough fuel to keep us going - forever, at current energy use.

Any other obvious propoganda games spring to mind? An anarcho-commie whatever propaganda game. (http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/165078) You fight evil conspiracy corporations, because as everyone knows McDonald's has a massive army of Space Marines and was behind 9/11. There's another propaganda game where you shoot Mexicans, but I find it to be in extremely poor taste (for obvious reasons), and thus won't provide a link to it.

Also this anti-nuke game is a bunch of propaganda, and didn't even rip off Mega Man well. 3 lives to beat four practically impossible stages? Lame.
