COMMENTARY: It takes guts to say this. I have a tremendous amount of respect for this woman. I just hope she isn't hurt.

I agree that this is likely, hezb'allah seems very astute at managing its image to the west.

Of course if they ever consolidate power I'm sure she'll be for the high jump.

I also think that she could well be at risk from lone nutters who are unaffiliated with Hez. directly, but feel the need to defend its honor tho'.

Looks like she is becoming rather popular there too, and remembering the Lebanese reaction when that popular government official was wacked awhile back, I suspect that if the Hez does anything stupid it could very well blow up in their faces.

I hope she survives this and is able to go MUCH farther.

There's a Hemingway quote that I reflect on occasionally when people like her reveal themselves.

The world breaks everyone and afterward many are strong in the broken places. But those that will not break it kills. It kills the very good and the very gentle and the very brave impartially. If you are none of these you can be sure it will kill you too but there will be no special hurry.

this is horrid...but want to bet on how many people give 2 shits,let alone will even remember her name a month from now?
i wont..neither will you.

no one remembers a week later after they bury our kids...everyone is sooooo sad,then they go back to the nintendo and other diversions...she is brave and forgotten,only wish they could get that across to the suuicide bombers..:-(
