Alright gangstas and hoes, this is your friendly neighborhood Kapsilan. I have a little radio show on my college's station. I hear a lot of music. I was recently talking to a droog of mine about what songs had the best lines. So I open it up to you fine folks.
"We made love on the living room floor
To the noise in the background of a televised war
And in the deafening pleasure I thought I heard someone say
'If we walk away, they'll walk away'."
-- "Landlocked Blues" by Bright Eyes
"wasting our money sending our boys to iraq,
mister president, i dont like you,
you dont know how to rock."

Any of Phil Ochs' "Talking Birmingham Jam": http://web.cecs.pdx.edu/~trent/ochs/lyrics/talking-birmingham-jam.html
That or Dan Bern:
"
Yes I think you heard me right
I am the Messiah
I was gonna wait till next year
Build up the suspense a little
Make it a really big surprise
But I could not resist
It's like when you got a really big secret
You're just bursting to tell someone
It was kinda like that with this
And now that I've told you
I feel this great weight lifted
Dr. Nusbaum was right
He's my therapist
He said get it out in the open"
- "Jerusalem"
Or if you prefer more of a manifesto:
"We owe you nothing
You have no control
You are not what you own"
- Fugazi "Merchandise"

I'm posted up in the parking lot my trunk wavin'
The candy gloss is immaculate and is simply amazing
Them elbows poking wide on that Candy-lac
Trunk open, screen's on, neon's lit with fifth relax
I'm on a mission for dime piece's and sexy ladies
Allow me to introduce you to my CL Mercedes
It's a star-studded event when I valet park
Open up my mouth and sunlight illuminates the dark
You see them 4's crawlin, you see them screens fallin
The disco ball in my mouth insinuates I'm ballin
I'm leanin on a switch sittin crooked in my slab
But I could still catch boopas if I drove a cab
A young Houston hard hitter all about the scrilla
Riding some candy coated crawlin like a caterpillar
I'm tippin on those 4's I'm jamming off this screw
I'm lookin for them hoes baby what it do?

Kids out driving Saturday afternoon pass me by
I'm just savouring familiar sights
We share some history, this town and I
And I can't stop that long forgotten feeling of her
Try to book a room to stay tonight
Number one is to find some friends to say "You're doing well
After all this time you boys look just the same"
Number two is the happy hour at one of two hotels
Settle in to play "Do you remember so and so?"
Number three is never say her name
But Ah! Who needs that sentimental bullshit, anyway
Takes more than just a memory to make me cry
I'm happy just to sit here round a table with old friends
And see which one of us can tell the biggest lies
Oh the flame trees will blind the weary driver
And there's nothing else could set fire to this town
There's no change, there's no pace
Everything within its place
Just makes it harder to believe that she won't be around

Set The Fire To The Third Bar
I find the map and draw a straight line
Over rivers, farms, and state lines
The distance from here to where you'd be
It's only finger-lengths that I see
I touch the place where I'd find your face
My finger in creases of distant dark places
I hang my coat up in the first bar
There is no peace that I've found so far
The laughter penetrates my silence
As drunken men find flaws in science
Their words mostly noises
Ghosts with just voices
Your words in my memory
Are like music to me
I'm miles from where you are,
I lay down on the cold ground
I, I pray that something picks me up
And sets me down in your warm arms
After I have travelled so far
We'd set the fire to the third bar
We'd share each other like an island
Until exhausted, close our eyelids
And dreaming, pick up from
The last place we left off
Your soft skin is weeping
A joy you can't keep in
I'm miles from where you are,
I lay down on the cold ground
And I, I pray that something picks me up
And sets me down in your warm arms
And miles from where you are,
I lay down on the cold ground
And I, I pray that something picks me up
And sets me down in your warm arms
............................................................
from "It's Been Awhile" by Staind
And it's been awhile,

That candles light your face
It's been awhile,
But I can still remember

Wish You Were Here (Waters, Gilmour) 5:17
So, so you think you can tell
Heaven from Hell,
Blue skys from pain.
Can you tell a green field
From a cold steel rail?
A smile from a veil?
Do you think you can tell?
And did they get you to trade
Your heros for ghosts?
Hot ashes for trees?
Hot air for a cool breeze?
Cold comfort for change?
And did you exchange
A walk on part in the war
For a lead role in a cage?
How I wish, how I wish you were here.
We're just two lost souls
Swimming in a fish bowl,
Year after year,
Running over the same old ground.
What have we found?
The same old fears.
Wish you were here.
Hm. This one'll do. (http://www.lyricsdepot.com/nirvana/radio-friendly-unit-shifter.html)

and feel the cool air cleanse my every pore
as I pour my poor heart out
to a radio song that's patient
and willing to listen
My volume drowns it out.
Yeah, but that's okay,
'cause I sound better than him anyway..."
Open Road Song, Eve 6.
I don't much care for the song as a whole, but I like the pore/pour/poor homonyms, and I like the idea of the radio song being a good listener who is promptly drowned out by the kind of person who sings at the top of their lungs while driving. Probably because that's the kind of person I am. ;)

It used to be on my break-up CD, if only for this line
"I'm beat down and half brain dead
The long lost king of fools
I may be dumb
But I'm not stupid enough to stay with you

Before it might have made some sense
But now it's all fucked up"

Eagles - 'Take It To The Limit'
You know I've always been a dreamer
(spent my life running 'round)
And it's so hard to change
(Can't seem to settle down)
But the dreams I've seen lately
Keep on turning out and burning out
And turning out the same
Lynard Skynard - 'Free Bird'
If I leave here tomorrow
Would you still remember me?
For I must be travelling on, now,
'Cause there's too many places I've got to see.
But, if I stayed here with you, girl,
Things just couldn't be the same.
'Cause I'm as free as a bird now,
And this bird you can not change.
Lord knows, I can't change.
Queen - 'The Show Must Go On'
Whatever happens, I'll leave it all to chance
Another heartache, another failed romance
On and on, does anybody know what we are living for ?
I guess I'm learning (I'm learning learning learning)
I must be warmer now
I'll soon be turning (turning turning turning)
Round the corner now
Outside the dawn is breaking
But inside in the dark I'm aching to be free
The show must go on
The show must go on, yeah yeah
Ooh, inside my heart is breaking
My make-up may be flaking
But my smile still stays on
NIN - 'Something I Can Never Have'
You always were the one to show me how
Back then I couldn't do the things that I can do now
This is slowly taking me apart
Grey would be the color if I had a heart
I just want something I can never have
In this place it seems like such a shame
Though it all looks different now, I know it's still the same
Everywhere I look you're all I see
Just a fading fucking reminder of who I used to be

I ain't straight outta Compton I'm straight out the trailer

Alas, they are not. The two primary songwriters have started an independent project--can't remember the name--but they've also done a remake of "Put a Lid On It" with Rickee Lee Jones singing called "Have You Had Enough?" It's a political song.

like big butts and I can not lie
You other brothers can't deny
That when a girl walks in with an itty bitty waist
And a round thing in your face
You get sprung, wanna pull out your tough
'Cause you notice that butt was stuffed
Deep in the jeans she's wearing
I'm hooked and I can't stop staring
Oh baby, I wanna get wit'cha
And take your picture
My homeboys tried to warn me
But with that butt you got makes me feel so horny
Ooh, Rump-o'-smooth-skin
You say you wanna get in my Benz?
Well, use me, use me
'Cause you ain't that average groupy
I've seen them dancin'
The hell with romancin'
She's sweat, wet,
Got it goin' like a turbo 'Vette
I'm tired of magazines
Sayin' flat butts are the thing
Take the average black man and ask him that
She gotta pack much back
So, fellas! (Yeah!) Fellas! (Yeah!)
Has your girlfriend got the butt? (Hell yeah!)
Tell 'em to shake it! (Shake it!) Shake it! (Shake it!)
Shake that healthy butt!
Baby got back!
This one's really cool from Mudhoney (especially the last part, it summarises the rest of the song):
Hard-On For War
Can you hear the little girls asking,
Daddy where have all the little boys gone?
The little girls, they ask me,
Daddy where have all the little boys gone?
They don't tease us in the classroom
They don't meet us at the mall
The little boys are fighting
They have left us all behind
The little boys are dying
To preserve our way of life
It's our patriotic duty
To make sweet love tonight
See these lovely lonesome ladies
They don't ignore me anymore
All these lonely lovely ladies
Keep on knocking on my door
I'm the only game in town
And it's so easy to score
Now I know why dirty old men are always pushing for war
Now I know why dirty old men are always pushing for war
I've become a dirty old man with a hard-on for war

Pretty much anything by early Bob Dylan simply owns. But I've got a special place in my heart for this verse from "A Hard Rain's A Gonna Fall"
And what'll you do now, my blue-eyed son?
And what'll you do now, my darling young one?
I'm a-goin' back out 'fore the rain starts a-fallin',
I'll walk to the depths of the deepest dark forest,
Where the people are many and their hands are all empty,
Where the pellets of poison are flooding their waters,
Where the home in the valley meets the damp dirty prison,
And the executioner's face is always well hidden,
Where hunger is ugly, where the souls are forgotten,
Where black is the color, where none is the number,
And I'll tell it and speak it and think it and breathe it,
And reflect from the mountain so all souls can see it,
And I'll stand on the ocean until I start sinkin',
But I'll know my song well before I start singin',
Sting is also an incredible lyricist. Here's one of my favourites from "We Work the Black Seam".
Our conscious lives run deep
You cling onto your mountain while we sleep
This way of life is part of me
There is no price so only let me be
And should the children weep
The turning world will sing their souls to sleep
When you have sunk without a trace
The universe will suck me into place

I think this thread should be open to just a couple of lines from a song, not the whole damn song. That takes up too much space.
Just one or two really well-written lines.
Such as this:
"Yes, I'm sittin' here resting my bones
And this loneliness won't leave me alone"
grandaddy -- A.M. 180
Don't change your name, keep it the
same For fear I may lose you again
I know you won't, it's just that
I am unorganized
And I want to find you when
Something good happens
If you come down we'll go to town I haven't been there for years
But I'd be fine wasting our time
Not doing anything here
Just doing nothing
We'll sit for days and talk about things
Important to us, like whatever We'll defuse bombs, walk marathons
And take on whatever together
Whatever together x3
"Anger!
He smiles towering in shining metallic purple armour
Green jealousy, envy waits behind him; her fiery green gown snares at the grassy ground
Blue, all the life-giving water taken for granted, but quietly understands
A once happy Turquoise army stares opposite ready, but wonders why the fight is on
My Red is so confident he flashes tokens of war and ribbons of euphoria
Orange is young, bold, and daring, but very unsteady for the first go around
My Yellow in this case is not so mellow; in fact I'm trying to say, it's fighting like me
And all of these emotions of mine keep tolling me from...
giving my life to a Rainbow like you"
I have no idea what it means, but it's the amazing Jimi Hendrix's "Bold as Love"

Madder than a motherf**ker
Lick my finger
Prizes for guessing who sung this and what song it was.
I say prizes, what I mean is nothing! e-cookie perhaps;)
"Our shadows softly on the grass, day would break we'd have our laughs
Our shirt tails in the wind, seems like yesterday my friend
I know that we were scared, hurt because you were not there
I know I want it all, wish the sky would fall on me "
Biffy Clyro - Christopher's River
"Sweat drenched hands, is it blood, fuck who cares?
I can not help the joy I'm feeling
Hurting you, you're beautiful when you cry
If you loved, you'd understand the way
Clever thoughts withstand and sway against your pain
I can't give, a thing, your way, to believe in, to believe in your heart
I’m sorry for this now but I have to hurt, I have to kill you"
Biffy Clyro - Convex, Concave
"Most second chances are better the first time,
And now I know for sure"
The Betes Noires - What We Lost in the Process
"I feel wondrous and holy and I know it's all right
I'll do my best to uphold you and I know that in the night
Ever wonder if it's forever, the moment passes,
but I feel you now, all the way down
So I'll try not to breathe as I hold my head still,
the light bends on my face, there’d be tears if I cried
And I'll try not to think what the happy things were
I just think of the stuff that just made me shit scared
And I'll just close my eyes and I’ll see everyone
that I’m leaving behind for the dawn of the sun
And I'll try not to feel, yes I'll try not to feel,
and I'll try not to feel on the way down"
Biffy Clyro - All The Way Down (Prologue/Chapter 1)
"Here comes the dead of night at the traffic light
I fell behind the empty shells of city life
I want to live my life where the passing kids
stop and stare
I want to live my life where those who live
still care"
Tin Pot Operation - Rather You Than Me
"Your mum don't sleep!
And the friends you keep!
I didn't raise a thief!
I didn't raise a thief!
But the leaders of the free world
Are just little boys throwing stones
And it's easy to ignore
Till they're knocking on the door of your homes
My thinking isn't driven
But the music always gives me a lift
I'm so easy to please, yeah
But I think we dropped the baton like the 60's didn't happen, oh no!
Oh periscope up
Should be looking for a ladder
I need to see the commander in chief
And remind him what was passed onto me"
Elbow - Leaders of the Free World

Come Crawling Faster
Obey Your Master
Your Life Burns Faster
Obey Your Master
Master
Ticking Away the moments that make up a dull day...
Hello.
Is there anybody in there?
Just nod if you can hear me.
Is there anyone home?
Come on, now.
I hear youre feeling down.
Well I can ease your pain,
Get you on your feet again.
Relax.
I need some information first.
Just the basic facts:
Can you show me where it hurts?
There is no pain, you are receding.
A distant ships smoke on the horizon.
You are only coming through in waves.
Your lips move but I cant hear what youre sayin.
When I was a child I had a fever.
My hands felt just like two balloons.
Now I got that feeling once again.
I cant explain, you would not understand.
This is not how I am.
I have become comfortably numb.
Ok.
Just a little pinprick. [ping]
Therell be no more --aaaaaahhhhh!
But you may feel a little sick.
Can you stand up?
I do believe its working. good.
Thatll keep you going for the show.
Come on its time to go.
There is no pain, you are receding.
A distant ships smoke on the horizon.
You are only coming through in waves.
Your lips move but I cant hear what youre sayin.
When I was a child I caught a fleeting glimpse,
Out of the corner of my eye.
I turned to look but it was gone.
I cannot put my finger on it now.
The child is grown, the dream is gone.
I have become comfortably numb.

There are Jews in the world.
There are Buddhists.
There are Hindus and Mormons, and then
There are those that follow Mohammed, but
I've never been one of them.
I'm a Roman Catholic,
And have been since before I was born,
And the one thing they say about Catholics is:
They'll take you as soon as you're warm.
You don't have to be a six-footer.
You don't have to have a great brain.
You don't have to have any clothes on. You're
A Catholic the moment Dad came,
Because
Every sperm is sacred.
Every sperm is great.
If a sperm is wasted,
God gets quite irate.
Every sperm is sacred.
Every sperm is great.
If a sperm is wasted,
God gets quite irate.
Let the heathen spill theirs
On the dusty ground.
God shall make them pay for
Each sperm that can't be found.
Every sperm is wanted.
Every sperm is good.
Every sperm is needed
In your neighbourhood.
Hindu, Taoist, Mormon,
Spill theirs just anywhere,
But God loves those who treat their
Semen with more care.
Every sperm is sacred.
Every sperm is great.
If a sperm is wasted,
God gets quite irate.
Every sperm is sacred.
Every sperm is good.
Every sperm is needed
In your neighbourhood!
Every sperm is useful.
Every sperm is fine.
God needs everybody's.
Mine! And mine! And mine!
Let the Pagan spill theirs
O'er mountain, hill, and plain.
God shall strike them down for
Each sperm that's spilt in vain.
Every sperm is sacred.
Every sperm is good.
Every sperm is needed
In your neighbourhood.
Every sperm is sacred.
Every sperm is great.
If a sperm is wasted,
God gets quite iraaaaate!

Rhode Island Is Famous For You
(Words by Howard Dietz; music by Arthur Schwartz)
Every state has something its Rotary Club can boast of
Some product that the state produces the most of
Rhode Island is little, but oh my
It has a product anyone would buy
Copper comes from Arizona, peaches come from Georgia
And lobsters come from Maine
The wheat fields are the sweet fields of Nebraska
And Kansas gets bonanzas from its grain
Old whiskey comes from old Kentucky -- ain't the country lucky
New Jersey gives us glue
But you, you come from Rhode Island
And little old Rhode Island is famous for you
And cotton comes from Louisiana, gophers come from Montana
And spuds from Idaho
They plough land in the cow land of Missouri
Where most beef meant for roast beef seems to grow
Grand Canyons come from Colorado,
Gold comes from Nevada,
Divorces also do,
But you, you come from Rhode Island
And little old Rhode Island is famous for you
Pencils come from Pennsylvania, vests from Vest Virginia
And tents from Tennessee
They know mink where they grow mink in Wyoming
But a camp chair in New Hampshire that's for me
And minnows come from Minnesota - coats come from Dakota
So why should you be blue?
'Cause you, you come from Rhode Island
Don't let 'em knock Rhode Island
It's famous for you

Buckle down the rumble seat

Hang on st. christopher on the passenger side
open it up tonight the devil can ride
hang on st. christopher with a barrel house dog
kick me up mt. baldy
throw me out in the fog
tear a hole in the jack pot
drive a stake through his heart
do a 100 on the grapevine
do a jump on the start
hang on st. christopher now don't let me go
get me to reno and bring it in low, yeah
hang on st. christopher with the hammer to the floor
put a hi ball in the crank case
nail a crow to the door
get a bottle for the jockey

Well then, it's titled "You Can't Always Get What You Want," and it's a Rolling Stones song.
The old God said "this is what you willed,
for only thus is your wish fullfilled.
War's five sources, I took away,
but I will give 4 of them back today."
He raised his hand and his voice once more
and all the world overturned in war
and when the last of the fires let fall
there was no lord of the world at all.
"Go, rebuild now" the old God said
"Feed the living and bury the dead.
and remember this when you speak of war
and think about what is worth fighting for."

A People's History of the World
by Propagandhi
At some turning point in history some fuckface recognized
that knowledge tends to democratize
cultures and societies
so the only thing to do was to monopolize and confine it to
priests, clerics and elites (the rest resigned to serve)
cuz if the rabble heard the truth they'd organize against
the power, privilege and wealth hoarded by the few--for no one else.
and did it occur to you that's it's almost exactly the same today?
so if our schools won't teach us, we'll have to teach ourselves
to analyse and understand the systems of thought-control
and share it with each other, never swayed by brass rings or the threat of penalty
i'll promise you--you promise me--not to sell each other out
to murderers, to thieves
who've manufactured our delusion that you and me
participate meaningfully in the process of running our own lives.
yeah, we can vote however the fuck we want, but power still calls all
the shots
and believe it or not, even if (real) democracy broke loose,
power could/ would just "make the economy scream"
until we vote "responsibly"

But I'd be fine wasting our time
Not doing anything here
Just doing nothing
We'll sit for days and talk about things

Lynard Skynard - 'Free Bird'
If I leave here tomorrow
Would you still remember me?
For I must be travelling on, now,
'Cause there's too many places I've got to see.
But, if I stayed here with you, girl,
Things just couldn't be the same.
'Cause I'm as free as a bird now,
And this bird you can not change.
Lord knows, I can't change.
Queen - 'The Show Must Go On'
Whatever happens, I'll leave it all to chance
Another heartache, another failed romance
On and on, does anybody know what we are living for ?
I guess I'm learning (I'm learning learning learning)
I must be warmer now
I'll soon be turning (turning turning turning)
Round the corner now
Outside the dawn is breaking
But inside in the dark I'm aching to be free
The show must go on
The show must go on, yeah yeah
Ooh, inside my heart is breaking
My make-up may be flaking
But my smile still stays on
I love both of those songs.

This one's really cool from Mudhoney (especially the last part, it summarises the rest of the song):
Hard-On For War
Can you hear the little girls asking,
Daddy where have all the little boys gone?
The little girls, they ask me,
Daddy where have all the little boys gone?
They don't tease us in the classroom
They don't meet us at the mall
The little boys are fighting
They have left us all behind
The little boys are dying
To preserve our way of life
It's our patriotic duty
To make sweet love tonight
See these lovely lonesome ladies
They don't ignore me anymore
All these lonely lovely ladies
Keep on knocking on my door
I'm the only game in town
And it's so easy to score
Now I know why dirty old men are always pushing for war
Now I know why dirty old men are always pushing for war
I've become a dirty old man with a hard-on for war

Stranger in this town.

Ooooh, I need a dirty girl.
Will some cold woman in this desert land
Make me feel like a real man?

Oooh, baby set me free.

Well, I don't want no Jesus freak to tell me what it's all about,
No black magician telling me to gouge my soul out,
Don't believe in violence; I don't even believe in peace
I've opened the door now my mind's been released.
Well, I don't want no preacher telling me about the god in the sky,
No, I don't want no one to tell me where I'm gonna go when I die
I wanna live my life I don't want people telling me what to do
I just believe in myself, 'cos no one else seems true.
Ev'ry day just comes and goes
Life is one long overdose
People drive to ruination
I can see through their frustration
People hiding their real faces,
Each one running their rat races
Behind each flow'r there grows a weed
in their world of make-believe
So believe what I tell you;
It's the only way you'll find in the end
Just believe in yourself you know you really shouldn't have to pretend
Don't let those empty people try and interfere with your mind
Just live your life and leave them all behind.

Love of mine some day you will die

Existence drips away
What's it really matter
When nothing really counts
Grave eternal darkeness
Drained of every ounce
And when the nightmare's over
The final from the storm
From dust of all creation
To ashes we transform

Heh, love every line in those song. "Roll Me Through The Gates Of Hell" by Mischief Brew.
I am a leader, but you will not follow me
I ain't no preacher, for I'm full of blasphemy
See you in hell boys
See you in hell boys
Hey
Like an angel who'd been dancing with some devils
I'm a bad girl with a hope for better days
My laughter is spiced with mischief
I won't toss salt, kiss it up, or pray
When you offer pink or blue, I'll take the blackest
When you offer only two, I'll offer three
When you point me in a direction, I'll run backwards
And at the border of utopia, I'll toast to anarchy
Cause fire and rock, I'm coming home to you
Well I'm picking the bones out of my dinner stew
Open up the gates of hell and roll me through
Fire and rock, I'm coming home to you
I am a leader, but you will not follow me
I ain't no preacher, for I'm full of blasphemy
See you in hell boys
See you in hell boys
Hey
So you're saying Satan's army's rising up soon
Well if it is, I'm the secretary of no state
I've got wrenches, rocks, and bottles in my tool pouch
And my desire is society's jail bait
Cause there's tons of guys moping 'bout the work day
Dimes by the dozen, their song weighs a thousand pounds,
But there's nothing like a lady with a buzzsaw
I just might build your house, but I just might tear it down
Cause fire and rock, I'm coming home to you
Well I'm picking the bones out of my dinner stew
Open up the gates of hell and roll me through
Fire and rock, I'm coming home to you
I am a leader, but you will not follow me
I ain't no preacher, for I'm full of blasphemy
See you in hell boys
See you in hell boys
Yes barkeep, I will surely have another
To the witches, to the goblins, and the trolls
I'll be coming to recruit your rebel children
There ain't no use in locking doors, there's one of me in every home
With mud on my boots, and blood on my jeans
I'll take those pretty dresses, tear them at the seams
Roll me through the gates of hell, ahh please
And I'll be back in your daughter's dreams
I am a leader, but you will not follow me
I ain't no preacher, for I'm full of blasphemy
See you in hell boys (See you in hell)
See you in hell boys (See you in hell)

I always forget about this lil' ditty...
King Missle - It's Saturday
I want to be different, like everybody else I want to be like
I want to be just like all the different people
I have no further interest in being the same,
because I have seen difference all around,
and now I know that that's what I want
I don't want to blend in and be indistinguishable,
I want to be a part of the different crowd,
and assert my individuality along with the others
who are different like me
I don't want to be identical to anyone or anything
I don't even want to be identical to myself
I want to look in the mirror and wonder,
"who is that person? I've never seen that person before;
I've never seen anyone like that before."
I want to call into question the very idea that
identity can be attached
I want a floating, shifting, ever changing persona:
Invisibility and obscurity,
detachment from the ego and all of it's pursuits.
Unity is useless
Comformity is competitive and divisive and leads only to
stagnation and death.
If what I'm saying doesn't make any sense,
that's because sense can not be made
It's something that must be sensed
And I, for one, am incensed by all this complacency
Why oppose war only when there's a war?
Why defend the clinics only when they're attacked?
Why are we always reactive?

How could we ask for more?
I swear that I can see forever in your eyes
Paradise
It seems like perfect love's so hard to find
I'd almost given up

When you walk away
You don't hear me say please
Oh baby, don't go
Simple and clean is the way that you're making me feel tonight
It's hard to let it go
...
Don't get me wrong I love you
But does that mean I have to meet your father?
When we are older you'll understand
What I meant when I said "No,
I don't think life is quite that simple"
...
Wish i could prove i love you
but does that mean i have to walk on water?
When we are older you'll understand
It's enough when i say so,
And maybe somethings are that simple
Hold me
Whatever lies beyond this morning
Is a little later on
Regardless of warnings the future doesn't scare me at all
Nothing's like before

I hate the world today
You're so good to me
I know but I can't change
Tried to tell you
But you look at me like maybe
I'm an angel underneath
Innocent and sweet
Yesterday I cried
Must have been relieved to see
The softer side
I can understand how you'd be so confused
I don't envy you
I'm a little bit of everything
All rolled into one
Chorus:
I'm a bitch, I'm a lover
I'm a child, I'm a mother
I'm a sinner, I'm a saint
I do not feel ashamed
I'm your hell, I'm your dream
I'm nothing in between
You know you wouldn't want it any other way
So take me as I am
This may mean
You'll have to be a stronger man
Rest assured that
When I start to make you nervous
And I'm going to extremes
Tomorrow I will change
And today won't mean a thing
Chorus
Just when you think, you got me figured out
The season's already changing
I think it's cool, you do what you do
And don't try to save me
Chorus
I'm a bitch, I'm a tease
I'm a goddess on my knees
When you hurt, when you suffer
I'm your angel undercover
I've been numb, I'm revived
Can't say I'm not alive
You know I wouldn't want it any other way

You should've mentioned:
Ed was at the end of his rope, an expression he detested. "There is no rope!" he would scream at the laughing walls. "There is only the end. No hope, no rope. Ending is better than mending. Doors of perception, windows of opportunity - these are the illusions, like the killing floor." Ed spoke in a squeaky voice with perhaps a slight tinge of glee, but this was only because he couldn't be bothered to try to develop a manner of speaking that truly reflected his mood. "This is a vacuum. There is no air in this room. Despair is no fun anymore. Nihilism knocked three times on the ceiling, but the rosy fingers of dawn always inserted themselves in the nose of unfulfilled promises. Angels sang Heysanna Hosanna, paralyzed prima-donnas danced in the streets all day, but when the darkness came, everybody went home. I was ready - everyone else was asleep. And while it may have been a relief to see that I was right all along, here I am still: alone and trapped, awaiting the endless end.
"And I can turn it all around, and laugh at it and laugh at myself; I can laugh louder than the walls, the halls the waterfalls, louder than Charles de Gaul or Fulton Mall, but I don't know what I'm laughing at. I don't know just what I think is so goddamn funny. I don't know why I don't just shut up and give up and lay down and die. What do I have to complain about anyway," Ed asked his Picasso, "I'm a millionaire!" This wasn't actually true. Ed's Picasso was an obvious forgery, his three Rothkos had just been singled out in an article in ARTFORUM entitled "The three most insignificant painting of Mark Rothko," and his Barbara Kruegers had been irreparably damaged by Rein Sanction and a few other bands from Gainesville that refused to acknowledge the value of art.
"Come to think of it," Ed mused to the laminated roadkill coffee table that he had purchased when times had seemed slightly less bleak, "Come to think of it, not only does art have no intrinsic value, but my collection had no extrinsic value either. I know I'm not a millionaire, but that's no reason to complain. There is no reason to complain. There is no reason to do anything, I don't believe in reason, objective reality, or collective farming. I don't believe in public speaking, which is another reason why I'm here alone. I don't believe in life or death. I would kill myself, but I don't believe in suicide." Ed put on a red shirt and took a quick walk around the block while whistling softly to himself. He reentered his apartment screaming. "There is no life on this planet! Jehovah-One replaced all life with machinery five centuries ago. The so-called industrial revolution was just another hoax and we all fell for it, 'cause we were all programmed to. Even I fell for it. I believe in the steam engine, even though I don't believe in anything. Logical inconsistency is the Mr. bubble I bathe in each and every evening, except for yesterday evening, when I rollerbladed over to the Masonic temple to play pinocle with Pope John Paul the First. I really had no choice in the matter." "Ed certainly could go on and on, and he did, and he would, and he will, until you or I or somebody does something about it," Senator Sterno of Arkansas announced over closed circuit television. "And as long as he continues to pontificate pointlessly, I will do nothing." Ed walked away from the program feeling fortified and stapled. His brain was buzzing, the way it always did just after Jeopardy. He loaded up the microbus with Atlases and posiedons and headed for Pope country.
"I've had it." He sang, "I've had it with puns, alliteration, Russian literature, Italian neo-realism, meaningless cross references and laundry lists of nonsense. I shall drive without a license, without clothing, without direction and if I make it to Louisianna, fine, and if I'm running late, if I'm running a numbers game, it doesn't matter, I shall keep on running. Yes, this is the answer. This is the ending. I shall keep on running, because a body in motion tends to stay emotional, and it's better to feel. Pain is better than emptiness, emptiness is better than nothing, and nothing is better than this."

The Grass Was Greener
The Light was brighter
The taste was sweeter
The nights of wonder
with friends surrounded
the dawn mist glowing
the water flowing
the endless
forever and ever
...
Looking beyond the embers of bridges glowing behind us
To a glimpse of how green it was on the other side
Steps taken forwards but sleepwalking back again
Dragged by the force of some inner tide
...
Moves me every time.

"Forward he cried, from the rear
And the front rank died
The General sat
And the lines on the map
Moved from side to side"
-Pink Floyd, Us and Them
"And you run and you run to catch up with the sun, but its sinking
And racing around to come up behind you again
The sun is the same in the relative way, but youre older
Shorter of breath and one day closer to death."
-Pink Floyd, Time
A couple of my favorites. I really like Pink Floyd:D
How 'bout Roger, then?
Button your lip. And don't let the shield slip.
Take a fresh grip on your bullet proof mask.
And if they try to break down your disguise with their questions
You can hide, hide, hide,
"I'll tell you what, I'll give you three blacks, and play you for five
..."
"Ta! You was unlucky there son"
"Time gentleman!"
Behind paranoid eyes.
You put on our brave face and slip over the road for a jar.
Fixing your grin as you casually lean on the bar,
Laughing too loud at the rest of the world
With the boys in the crowd
You can hide, hide, hide,
Behind petrified eyes.
You believed in their stories of fame, fortune and glory.
Now you're lost in a haze of alcohol soft middle age
The pie in the sky turned out to be miles too high.
And you hide, hide, hide,
Behind brown and mild eyes.
and from the same album,
Floating down through the clouds
Memories come rushing up to meet me now.
But in the space between the heavens
and the corner of some foreign field
I had a dream.
I had a dream.
Good-bye Max.
Good-bye Ma.
After the service when you're walking slowly to the car
And the silver in her hair shines in the cold November air
You hear the tolling bell
And touch the silk in your lapel
And as the tear drops rise to meet the comfort of the band
You take her frail hand
And hold on to the dream.
A place to stay
"Oi! A real one ..."
Enough to eat
Somewhere old heroes shuffle safely down the street
Where you can speak out loud
About your doubts and fears
And what's more no-one ever disappears
You never hear their standard issue kicking in your door.
You can relax on both sides of the tracks
And maniacs don't blow holes in bandsmen by remote control
And everyone has recourse to the law
And no-one kills the children anymore.
And no one kills the children anymore.
Night after night
Going round and round my brain
His dream is driving me insane.
In the corner of some foreign field
The gunner sleeps tonight.
What's done is done.
We cannot just write off his final scene.
Take heed of the dream.
Take heed.
There's a version of that with Clapton playing the solo.

Of course, my own contribution (and not just a response):
for Cobbleism ;)
Don't be aroused, by my confession
Unless you don't give a good Goddamn about redemption
I know Christ is comin', so am I
And you would too if the sexy devil caught your eye
She'll suck you dry
But still you'll cry, to be back in her bosom
To do it again
She'll make you weak
And mourn and cry, to be back in her bosom
To do it again
(Pray) Til I go blind
(Pray) Cause nobody ever survives
Prayin' to stay in your arms just until I can die a little longer
Satyrs and saints, devils and heathens alike
She'll eat you alive
Jesus is risen, it's no surprise
Even he would martyr his mama to ride to hell between those thighs
The pressure is building, at the base of my spine
If I gotta sin to see her again then I'm gonna lie and lie and lie
She'll make you cry
I'll sell my soul, to be back in your bosom
Gladly now please suck me dry
And still you'll cry, to be back in her bosom
To do it again
(Pray) Til I go blind
(Pray) Cause nobody ever survives
Prayin' to stay in her arms just until I can die a little longer
Satyrs and saints, devils and heathens alike
She'll eat you alive
My pulse has been rising
My temples are pounding
The pressure is so overwhelming and building
So steady they're fretting I'm ready to blow
What is she what is she what is she waiting for?
(Pray) Pray til I go blind
(Pray) Pray cause no one ever survives
Prayin' to stay in her arms just to die longer
Saviors and saints, devils and heathens alike
She'll eat you alive
of course, given my nature, there's probably quite a few others worthwhile, but meh.

Neat. I love King Missile. My personal favorites of theirs would be Martin Scorsese, Detachable Penis. Cheesecake Truck, or The Commercial. Any one of which would be quoteworthy. I wanted to do quotes from The Commercial most of all though. But I couldn't find the lyrics to that one very easily and I did not feel like transcribing it at this late hour.
so I'll do
Cheesecake Truck
So then I got this idea about driving a cheesecake truck,
Because I figured at the end of the day I could take some of the leftover cheesecakes home,
And I love cheesecake.
So I went to the cheesecake company,
And they asked me if I could drive a truck,
And I said yes and they said you're hired.
So the next day I got in the truck with all the cheesecakes,
And I drove about a block and I just had to have a cheesecake.
So I pulled over and I opened the trunk and I got a cheesecake,
And I also took one for later,
And I took one for my friend Farmboy,
And I took one to bring home,
And by that time I had eaten one of the cheesecakes.
So I took another one.
Then I figured I might as well stop at my house to drop off all the cheesecakes.
So I take five cakes to eat on the way,
And I drive another block and a half to my house.
Now it's lunchtime so I eat ten cheesecakes and a cheesecake for desert.
I should point out by the way that all of these cheesecakes were very delicious.
Anyway, I decided that the only thing to do would be to eat all the rest of the cheesecakes and hide the truck somewhere and leave town.
And I miss everybody a lot,
But I'm not really sorry,
Because they were very delicious cheesecakes.

You don't find your way, the way finds you...
Tempt the fates, beware the smile
It hides all the teeth, my dear,
What's behind them...
So glad you could stay

Don't take his hand
You warm by the firelight, in twilight's blue
Shadows creep & dance the walls
He's creeping too..
So glad you could stay

A slowly constructed crow quilled confession of my spirit to all of you,
black waterproof ink scars the board, so hot-pressed, pristine and pure.
A slowly constructed manifestation of "to tremble",
as base as a bridge in a song and less like the poem that I promised you.
Nothing's so lurid as haiku-detat on sidewalks in white outlined chalk,
all I've got is this ink smeared lines.
With our voices in harmony, the offering, of a crow quilled threnody."

"The sun has fallen down
And the billboards are all leering
And the flags are all dead at the top of their poles
It went like this:
The buildings tumbled in on themselves
Mothers clutching babies picked through the rubble
And pulled out their hair
The skyline was beautiful on fire
All twisted metal stretching upwards
Everything washed in a thin orange haze
I said: "Kiss me, you're beautiful -
These are truly the last days"
You grabbed my hand and we fell into it
Like a daydream or a fever
We woke up one morning and fell a little further down -
For sure it's the valley of death
I open up my wallet
And it's full of blood"
Godspeed You! Black Emperor - The Dead Flag Blues

Outside the frame, is what we're leaving out
You won't remember anyway

I can go with the flow (I can go)
Do you believe it in your head?
It's so safe to play along
Little soldiers in a row
Falling in and out of love
Something sweet to throw away.
I want something good to die for
To make it beautiful to live.
I want a new mistake, lose is more than hesitate.

These lyrics suit me better than just about any other.
You Won't Change Me (6:34)
I'm just a man and I am what I am, yeah
Nobody will ever change my ways
I don't need money and I don't need your lies, yeah
I only need to live for today
But I'd like to talk things over with you
I wanna hear the things you say, today
Although you won't change me anyway, oh no way
I wish you'd come and see me, I'd like to hold you
I wanna set my mind all free
You understand me woman, you give me time, yeah
But I don't need no sympathy
Still I wonder what it's like to be loved
Instead of hiding in myself
Nobody will change me anyway, no no way
Nobody's gonna change my world
That's something too unreal
Nobody will change the way I feel
So listen to me now, hear what I say, yeah
Please give me time and maybe love
If there's a God up there, well I hope he helps me
I need him now to set me free
'Cos it may be that it's over for me
If you don't hear the things that I say, today
Nobody will change me anyway, no no way
Nobody's gonna change my world
That's something too unreal
Nobody will change the way I feel

Woke up this morning face down on the rug
I said a prayer of thanks to the lord above
My pounding brain brings out another hard day
And when the sun goes down I go out and play
I did the mission for a long, long time
If I hurt no one, I committed no crime
Well righteous folks say my life is a sin
That can explain the shape I’m in
Now, as far as I can tell
The only thing between me and hell
Yeah, as far as I can tell
The only thing between me and hell
The only thing between me and hell
Is the floor
Is the floor
Woke up this morning face down on the rug
I said a prayer of thanks to the lord above
My pounding brain brings out another day
And when the sun goes down I go out and play
Seems as plain as the passing of time
Well if you hurt no one, you’ve done no crime
Well righteous folks claim I’m born in a sin
That kind of thinking shapes this mess I’m in
Listen kid, as far as I can tell
The only thing between me and hell
The only thing between me and hell
The only thing between me and hell
The only thing between me and hell
Is the floor
Is the floor
The only thing between me and hell

The Decemberists - "The Mariner's Revenge Song"
We are two mariners
Our ship's sole survivors
In this belly of a whale
It's ribs are ceiling beams
It's guts are carpeting
I guess we have some time to kill
You may not remember me
I was a child of three
And you, a lad of eighteen
But, I remember you
And I will relate to you
How our histories interweave
At the time you were
A rake and a roustabout
Spending all your money
On the whores and hounds
(oh, oh)
You had a charming air
All cheap and debonair
My widowed mother found so sweet
And so she took you in
Her sheets still warm with him
Now filled with filth and foul disease
As time wore on you proved
A debt-ridden drunken mess
Leaving my mother
A poor consumptive wretch
(oh, oh)
And then you disappeared
Your gambling arrears
The only thing you left behind
And then the magistrate
Reclaimed our small estate
And my poor mother lost her mind
Then, one day in spring
My dear sweet mother died
But, before she did
I took her hand as she, dying, cried:
(oh, oh)
"Find him, Bind him
Tie him to a pole and break
His fingers to splinters
Drag him to a hole until he
Wakes up naked
Clawing at the ceiling
Of his grave"
It took me fifteen years
To swallow all my tears
Among the urchins in the street
Until a priory
Took pity and hired me
To keep their vestry nice and neat
But, never once in the employ
Of these holy men
Did I ever, once turn my mind
From the thought of revenge
(oh, oh)
One night I overheard
The prior exchanging words
With a penitent whaler from the sea
The captain of his ship
Who matched you toe to tip
Was known for a wanton cruelty
The following day
I shipped to sea
With a privateer
And in the whistle
Of the wind
I could almost hear
(oh, oh)
"Find him, Bind him
Tie him to a pole and break
His fingers to splinters
Drag him to a hole until he
Wakes up naked
Clawing at the ceiling
Of his grave
There is one thing I must say to you
As you sail across the sea
Always, your mother will watch over you
As you avenge this wicked deed"
And then, that fateful night
We had you in our sight
After twenty months, it seemed
Your starboard flank abeam
I was getting my muskets clean
When came this rumbling from beneath
The ocean shook
The sky went black
And the captain quailed
And before us grew
The angry jaws
Of a giant whale
(oh..)
Don't know how I survived
The crew all was chewed alive
I must have slipped between his teeth
But, oh, what providence
What divine intelligence
That you should survive
As well as me
It gives my eye great joy
To see your eyes fill with fear
So lean in close
And I will whisper
The last words you'll hear
(oh, oh)
"Find him, Bind him
Tie him to a pole and break
His fingers to splinters
Drag him to a hole until he
Wakes up naked
Clawing at the ceiling
Of his grave"

YO HO (A PIRATE'S LIFE FOR ME) song lyrics
Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me.
We pillage, we plunder, we rifle, and loot,
Drink up, me 'earties, yo ho.
We kidnap and ravage and don't give a hoot,
Drink up me 'earties, yo ho.
Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me.
We extort, we pilfer, we filch, and sack,
Drink up, me 'earties, yo ho.
Maraud and embezzle, and even high-jack,
Drink up, me 'earties, yo ho.
Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me.
We kindle and char, inflame and ignite,
Drink up, me 'earties, yo ho.
We burn up the city, we're really a fright,
Drink up, me 'earties, yo ho.
We're rascals, scoundrels, villans, and knaves,
Drink up, me 'earties, yo ho.
We're devils and black sheep, really bad eggs,
Drink up, me 'earties, yo ho
Together in all these memories
I see your smile.
All the memories I hold dear.
Darling, you know I'll love you
till the end of time.
All of my memories keep you near.
In silent moments,
Imagine you'd be here.
All of my memories keep you near,
Your silent whispers, silent tears.
All of my memories...
~Memories, Within Temptation
So, so you think you can tell Heaven from Hell,
blue skies from pain.
Can you tell a green field from a cold steel rail?
A smile from a veil?
Do you think you can tell?
And did they get you to trade your heroes for ghosts?
Hot ashes for trees?
Hot air for a cool breeze?
Cold comfort for change?
And did you exchange a walk on part in the war for a lead role in a cage?
How I wish, how I wish you were here.
We're just two lost souls swimming in a fish bowl, year after year,
Running over the same old ground.
What have you found? The same old fears.
Wish you were here.

From "How You Remind Me" by Nickelback
Never made it as awise man.
Couldn't cut it as a poor man stealing.
Tired of livin' like a blind man.
Sick inside without a sense of feeling.
And this is how you remind me
This is how you remind me
Of wha I really am.
......
It's not like you didn't know that
I said I love you and I swear I still do
It must have been so bad
Cause living with me must have damn near killed you
......
I've been wrong, I've been down
To the bottom of every bottle
Despite words in my head
Scream "Are we having fun yet?"

"Through Glass" --Stone Sour
How do you feel, that is the question
But I forget you don't expect an easy answer
When something like a soul becomes initialized
And folded up like paper dolls and little notes
You can't expect a bit of hope
So while you're outside looking in describing what you see
Remember what you're staring at is me

Arrgh rape the bleeders!
lol, you reminded me of this...
Only Women Bleed
ALICE COOPER
Man's got his woman to take his seed
He's got the power - oh
She's got the need
She spends her life through pleasing up her man
She feeds him dinner or anything she can
She cries alone at night too often
He smokes and drinks and don't come home at all
Only women bleed
Only women bleed
Only women bleed
Man makes your hair gray
He's your life's mistake
All you're really lookin' for is an even break
He lies right at you
You know you hate this game
He slaps you once in a while and you live and love in pain
She cries alone at night too often
He smokes and drinks and don't come home at all
Only women bleed
Only women bleed
Only women bleed
Only women bleed
Only women bleed
Only women bleed
Only women bleed
Black eyes all of the time
Don't spend a dime
Clean up this grime
And you there down on your knees begging me please come
Watch me bleed
Only women bleed
Only women bleed
Only women bleed
Only women bleed
Only women bleed
Only women bleed
Only women bleed

Wish You Were Here (Waters, Gilmour) 5:17
So, so you think you can tell
Heaven from Hell,
Blue skys from pain.
Can you tell a green field
From a cold steel rail?
A smile from a veil?
Do you think you can tell?
And did they get you to trade
Your heros for ghosts?
Hot ashes for trees?
Hot air for a cool breeze?
Cold comfort for change?
And did you exchange
A walk on part in the war
For a lead role in a cage?
How I wish, how I wish you were here.
We're just two lost souls
Swimming in a fish bowl,
Year after year,
Running over the same old ground.
What have we found?
The same old fears.
Wish you were here.:fluffle:

Purple Haze all in my brain,
lately things just don't seem the same,
actin' funny, but I don't know why.
'Scuse me while I kiss the sky!
Purple Haze, all around.
don't know if I'm coming up or down.
Am I happy or in misery?
Whatever it is, that girl, put a spell on me!
Help me, help me!
Oh no, no!
Sssss...
No, no!
Oh, ah, oh, ah, click!, oh, ah!
Purple Haze all in my eyes,
don't know if it's day or night,
you've got me blowin', blowin'my mind
is it tomorrow or just the end of time?
No!
Help me!
Nah!
Yeah, purple haze!
Oh no, no!
No, help me!
Tell me baby, tell me
It can't go on like this!
It's gonna blow my mind!
No, no! Noho!

"Seize the Day" by Avenged Sevenfold
Seize the day or die regretting the time you lost
It's empty and cold without you here, too many people to ache over
...
I found you here, now please just stay for a while
I can move on with you around
I hand you my mortal life, but will it be forever?
I'd do anything for a smile, holding you 'til our time is done
We both know the day will come, but I don't want to leave you
...
Will you take a journey tonight, follow me past the walls of death?
But girl, what if there is no eternal life?
...
Trials in life, questions of us existing here
Don't wanna die alone without you here
Please tell me what we have is real
So, what if I never hold you, yeah, or kiss your lips again? Whooooah
So I never want to leave you and the memories of us to see
I beg don't leave me
...
(Silence, you lost me-- no chance for one more day)
(Silence, you lost me-- no chance for one more day)
I stand here alone
Falling away from you, no chance to get back home

Just yesterday morning they let me know you were gone
Susanne the plans they made put an end to you
I walked out this morning and I wrote down this song
I just can't remember who to send it to
I've seen fire and I've seen rain
I've seen sunny days that I thought would never end
I've seen lonely times when I could not find a friend
But I always thought that I'd see you again
Won't you look down upon me, Jesus
You've got to help me make a stand
You've just got to see me through another day
My body's aching and my time is at hand
And I won't make it any other way
Oh, I've seen fire and I've seen rain
I've seen sunny days that I thought would never end
I've seen lonely times when I could not find a friend
But I always thought that I'd see you again
Been walking my mind to an easy time my back turned towards the sun
Lord knows when the cold wind blows it'll turn your head around
Well, there's hours of time on the telephone line to talk about things
to come
Sweet dreams and flying machines in pieces on the ground
Oh, I've seen fire and I've seen rain
I've seen sunny days that I thought would never end
I've seen lonely times when I could not find a friend
But I always thought that I'd see you, baby, one more time again, now
Thought I'd see you one more time again
There's just a few things coming my way this time around, now
Thought I'd see you, thought I'd see you fire and rain, now

Dame de tu fruta
Dame de tu fruta
Vamos mi amor . . .
Te quiero puta!
Te quiero puta!
Ay que rico
Entre tus piernas voy a llorar
Feliz y triste voy a estar
Feliz y triste voy a estar
Más más más por favor
Más más más sí sí señor
Más más más por favor
Más más más sí sí señor
No me tengas miedo
No te voy a comer
Más más más por favor
Más más más sí sí señor
Sí sí señor
Te quiero puta!
Te quiero puta!
Dámelo dámelo
Te quiero puta!

I've got three songs:
Live Again (The Fall of Man), by Bad Religion
The road is narrow, the horizon wide
And to say what’s waiting on the other side
Is so rewarding and the ultimate prize
But what good is something if you can’t have it until you die?
Desperate, tenacious, clinging like a grain of sand
Watching its foundation wash away
Drunk with the assertions they know they can’t defend
Confident that they might…live again
Temptation? Revelation? You decide
Torture shows its colors often in disguise
Progress and purpose help us realize
We pass along a brighter faith even though it must be blind
In the Night-Side of Eden, by HIM
Divided we stand in the light of a frozen sun
Cursing the gods we have become
We steal the fire from a sacred heart
And bleed the wine unholy
We fall in love with the serpent's song
And fear nothing
In the nightside of Eden
We're born again dead
Forever we are
Forever we've been
Forever we'll be crucified to a dream
In the nightside of Eden
Making Love to the Camera, by The Starting Line
If we blossom as high as northwestern trees
I swear I'll still be the same as I was as a seed
And if these branches hold a leaf
They'll hold convictions
I believe
This is the beginning of something
Too strong to break now

"This has been said, so many times that i'm not sure if it matters, but we never stood a chance, and i'm not sure if it matters; for if you are the shores, I am the waves, begging for big moves. I'm adding letters to adresses in a ghost town."

Amour
Rammstein
Amour Amour
Alle wollen nur dich zähmen
Amour Amour am Ende
gefangen zwischen deinen Zähnen
Die Liebe ist ein wildes Tier
In die Falle gehst du ihr
In die Augen starrt sie dir
Verzaubert wenn ihr Blick dich trifft
Bitte bitte gib mir Gift

"Inside we're all the same... Why don't we show the scars we hold? There's a peace inside us all, let it be your friend." - Creed.
It's written on my bedroom mirror.

Ich Will
Rammstein
Ich will
Ich will dass ihr mir vertraut
Ich will dass ihr mir glaubt
Ich will eure Blicke spüren
Ich will jeden Herzschlag kontrollieren
Ich will eure Stimmen hören
Ich will die Ruhe stören
Ich will dass ihr mich gut seht
Ich will dass ihr mich versteht
Ich will eure Phantasie
Ich will eure Energie
Ich will eure Hände sehen
Ich will in Beifall untergehen
Seht ihr mich?
Versteht ihr mich?
Fühlt ihr mich?
Hört ihr mich?
Könnt ihr mich hören?
Wir hören dich
Könnt ihr mich sehen?
Wir sehen dich
Könnt ihr mich fühlen?
Wir fühlen dich
Ich versteh euch nicht
Ich will
Wir wollen dass ihr uns vertraut
Wir wollen dass ihr uns alles glaubt
Wir wollen eure Hände sehen
Wir wollen in Beifall untergehen - ja
Könnt ihr mich hören?
Wir hören dich
Könnt ihr mich sehen?
Wir sehen dich
Könnt ihr mich fühlen?
Wir fühlen dich
Ich versteh euch nicht
Könnt ihr uns hören?
Wir hören euch
Könnt ihr uns sehen?
Wir sehen euch
Könnt ihr uns fühlen?
Wir fühlen euch
Wir verstehen euch nicht
Ich will
