Purse. Nothing in pockets.

Going through my pockets is an exercise in lunacy...wallet, ciagrettes, lighter, cell phone, mp3 player, loose change....

I refuse to carry a man bag.

Nothing. I carry my cash, ID, and credit card loose in my pocket. I think I might need to start carrying a wallet though. Last week I misplaced a hundred dollar bill.

Yep, that's the way to look at it - especially when you don't have any. :p

I carry a wallet most days, but if I'm going on a night out, I use my pockets so there's less chance of it falling out.

Did you call me a bad name? :(

I was just telling Juni why I laughed at the idea of a 'fanny pack' instead of a purse or wallet....

and it's usually worn with the pouch facing back... hence the 'fanny'

I wear mine on the right side, so I guess I should've called it a 'Hip pack'

those bags of which you speak are known as 'bum bags' here.....

I carry a purse in my pocket, along with everything else I'll need for the day - phone, mp3 player etc. Unfortunately on those rare occasions when I have a lot of cash, it means my pants try to fall down :(

A wallet measuring 13cm length x 8.5cm wideness x 5cm thickness.

Quite a deadly projectile if need should arise! :D

Since the change compartment zipper is done for, all the change goes into my pocket. And I'm usually equipped with all kinds of stuff (pens, kleenex, chewing gum, keys, leatherman, shades, lighters, cigarettes...). It's quite a lot and I usually wear those pants with side-pockets to stow it all away (while never using the back-pockets!).

I'd be lost without my wallet - but I'd lose everything without it! So there :p

Dito. But I rather call it an organizational challange. (Just sounds better!).

Oh, and I still have one of those Nokia 3110 steampowered cell phones with a red display wrenched somewhere in my pockets.

I carry a giant denim bag full of stuff, a small purse (that fits in the denim bag) and a rolling cart full of things that I need. (no not like a shopping buggy)

I would list for you everything that is in them, but you might faint.

I carry a wallet made from Lebanese and Israeli flags whose pockets are lined with the scrota of castrated lounge singers.

LG's flag is flying on the property; 'twould be sacrelige to turn it in to a wallet.

if i could be bothered i'd post a pic of my wallet, as i've had it 2 years now (longer than any wallet before) and i still really like it. tis black with a red star on the front, and a nice short chain to keep it attached to me (dual purpose: a) so it can't be stolen so easily, and b) so i don't lose it :P)

keep change in me back pocket. keys in front pocket (used to have em on the chain but it was all jangly and annoying)

I carry a wallet.

Of course, I put it in the left-side pocket of my pants. This has two bonuses: It doesn't kill your back when you sit, and it's a lot harder for jackasses to pickpocket you. It looks a bit weird with a bulge in your cargo pockets, sure, but doesn't it also look odd with a bulge coming from the back pockets? :p

And what the fuck is up with the poll options?

What Carisbroke was trying to say is that to the Brits the word "fanny" refers to female genitalia rather than a gender neutral buttocks.
