Ok, for those of you not aware, there are is a vehicle that Chrysler makes called the Dodge SRT4. It looks something like this. (http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b383/DrkHelmet/c7_12.jpg)
Chrysler also puts out upgrade kits for them, in its Mopar division. The stage three kit boosts its performance from 230hp to 310hp (street fuel) or 365hp (racing fuel). The catch? It costs around $3,700 just for the kit.
Now I can get the kit in there. I don't know all that much about automobiles but I know guys who do that work for beer, so installation would be no problem.
So, what do you think - upgrade using the mopar kit(upgrade kit), decide and upgrade the parts that I want at my own pace (self tuner), or leave it stock(stock option)?
Poll is coming.

With gas likely to hit $4.00 a gallon....is it really a good idea?

You're a glass half-empty kind of guy, aren't you?
In any case, there's a poll option for you too.

Not really...just wondering if its really worthwhile lining the pockets of big biz and the gov just to have more horsepower when there is no chance of using all that power outside of a racetrack...unless of course you want to break the law...
So its sort of a sporty "Canyonero"

that car is shit in it's standard form. it's probably one of the worst cars on sale over here. very bad chassis. i don't know if they've upgraded it for this version but it would need some serious work to be even averagely good.
Ignore the weenies and those who dont like horsepower. Get the Mopar kit.
Or buy a bike.
