I'm sure some people have seen it before, but I only just heard about the UBS Hamburger Survey, mentioned by Regional Economist: http://stlouisfed.org/publications/re/2004/a/pages/international_econ.html from the ABC news in Australia.
Regional Economist provides a chart they compiled (as a jpeg ugh).
I guess the figures they use are publicly available, and the calculations are straightforward. If anyone finds the actual UBS hamburger index, or any sign of when the 2006 chart will be out, just yell.
Can't believe that no-one's screaming about the Japan result.
