Well I don't know if this is going to help me at all.. but..

Someone I know is turning 21 next week, so for her gift, I'm making jello shots.

I can't decide between a few (flavor) recipes, so I asked someone what she might like..

They told me to look for a Bay Breeze (http://www.drinkstreet.com/searchresults.cgi?drinkid=118&drinkname=malibu) recipe.

I can't find that in jello shot recipes, so I'm asking the good alcoholics and party animals of NSG for help!

Is it possible to make jello shots from that drink?

And if you're really from Japan, I guess you might not understand the whole alcohol as a gift thing..

I'd love to get jello shots. It's a nice idea Ruffy, and I'm sure you know your friend well enough to know that she'll like them too. :D
I don't think Ruffy can afford to buy jewelry just for a friend, he's still at school. Unless he has rich parents, or buys cheap stuff that his friend won't bother to wear.

I don't see why you couldn't if you used unflavored geletain...not sure how you would do it...but it should work.

by the way, a bay breeze is 1 oz vodka, and equal ammounts cranberry and pineapple juice...malibu would make it way too sweet (atleast for me).

You could try several drinks...maybe sex on the beach?

3/4 oz peach schnapps
OJ
Cranberry juice

(those recipies are for one drink...multiply for how many you want)

Is jello little cubes of jelly? Don't make them, just make a BIG bowl of vodka jelly. :)

ADD 1/2 cup of cold water to 1 cup pineapple juice
Make the jello, after the gelatin is disolved in the boiling water add the pineapple juice and cold water, stir, remove from heat, pour in bowl, stir in rum, put in fridge until it sets up

the end.

Not one huge jello shot, you should make at least three bowls of different flavours.
Also you should put a LOT of vodka in it. You can hardly taste it in jelly so your friends won't realise how much alcohol they are eating. :D

Great idea! Ignore those naysayers, they're all straight edge anyways. ;):p

Try something simple. Like Strawberry Jello and Orange Vodka. That's really good.

Or, perhaps a Washington Apple. Washington Apple is 1/3 Crown Royal, 1/3 DeKuyper Sour Apple Pucker, and 1/3 Cranberry, and you can add a little 7-Up if you like.


However, if you are set on a bay breeze, its Stolichnaya Vodka(don't change the vodka), cranberry, and pineapple. Remember, its a 3:1:1 ratio!

However, if you want to make it REALLY great, I'd use Flamingo punch.
You mix Bacardi White Rum, Myers Dark Rum, Bacardi 151, Pineapple juice, Orange juice, and sweet and sour mix. In fact, I just found a great recipe Here (http://www.freedrinkrecipes.com/cocktails-drinks-recipes/flamingopunch-drink-recipe.html)

I forgot to mention that if you are using regular rum then the jello flavor should be orange and that if you are using Malibu rum that the jello flavor should be strawberry.

oh, and before it sets up very well pour it into the containers you are going to use for the shots..............*wispers* I used to go to the local Christian store and pick up the disposable communion cups..........;)

I'm glad I'm not the only one who has done that.....

Not one huge jello shot, you should make at least three bowls of different flavours.

I am thinking about using cupcake things, but I don't know if they would stack well in a cooler..

Replace the cold water with coconut rum, use half Cranberry Jell-o half Pinapple.

Also, remember that one batch of Jell-o will get a room full of people drunk. Be careful how many are presented to the birthday girl. If getting drunk I recommend 2 right away and then another every 45 minutes. Otherwise the party ends way too soon.
