Television Shows you DONT miss.....

we've seen what you missed....but what DONT you miss?
there have been many....many short lived shows. Some of them are really good and get cancelled before their time (firefly, Millenium, etc.) but most are dreck that makes you feel a little dumber after each minute of every episode.
My top shows i DONT miss:
Space: Above and Beyond (it sucked, get over it!)
That 80s show
Wonderfalls
Greg the Bunny
ROAR
VIP
The Ben Stiller Show
The Magic Hour
Paula Poundstone Show
just to name a couple.
What shows are you glad to see bite the dust? Any show from any decade is revelant here.....you can also list shows you want to end but for some reason just wont....

add the lone gunmen to that list as well.....

I have a horrible memory and cant remember the names of the crappy shows I hated (even though I still watched them when I was bored).
Lone Gunmen definitely sucked and so did That 80's show.
OH yeah VIP was an attrocity.
I never heard of most of those shows though.

I never saw the thread about shows I miss though.
I would have added Amazing Stories to it.

Ren and Stimpy
Rocko's Modern Life
I Am Weasel
I Are Babboon
Powerpuff Girls
Dexter's Laboratory
Cow & Chicken
I would say Ed, Edd, & Eddy, but they keep fucking airing it.
Basically, any of the shows on or stemming from CN's old Cartoon, cartoon Fridays.
Except Billy & Mandy
Friends
Seinfeld
the Man Show post-Jimmy and Adam
I'll think of more later.

I didn't like Friends. I didn't. All I heard about, especially after 9/11 was, "OMG Friends is tteh roxorz! OMGWTFBBQ we don't wanaa watch any more reality shows, so we all hafta watch Friends!!!!!11111oneoneeleventyone" I didn't watch the show. It was sickening to hear about how the actors were paid $132 million between them for a season of Friends, when a season of Survivor, one of my favorite shows (which happened to air opposite Friends, so the ratings war awas always Friends vs. Survivor, and it seemed like freinds-watchers, especially the ones who used to watch Survivor, looked down on those of us who still watched Survivor) costs about $10 million and change to make, PLUS it makes for way better discussion. Debates of "Should Ross marry Rachel?" get old a lot more quickly than "Would Tom from Palau be able to hang with Terry from Exile Island?"
I am a recovered reality TV basher. When Survivor debuted, I wouldn't watch it on principle, but when the second season premiered after the Super Bowl, I gave it a shot. I don't miss an episode now. Thursday nights in the spring and fall are a ritual to me, and Big Brother's a poor substitute (it's all right, but it's like eating steak for most of the year and then having to subsist on ground beef for a while.) Hell, I've even written a fanfiction of Survivor...it took many hours to write, but I (almost) did it.
That said, the point is this - get off my screen, Friends, and take Joey with you.

The idea that Survivor is scripted, usually linked to the idea that it's rigged, is insane. Aside from the fact that it's unethical and the FCC wouldn't stand for it, out of 182 people ever to play the game, only a grand total of TWO have made any insinuation that something wasn't on the up-and-up. Both were from the first season. One was a bitter, sore loser who thoguht she could explot a pattern in the show; the other was facing jail time and pulled out all the stops to avoid going. Neither is credible.
Aside from that, if the show were scripted, wouldn't the script-writers have written a better Thailand season? That season was dreadful.

I hated when Dawson's Creek was on, for my own personal reasons (btw I never even watched one episode of it)
My mom used to be obessed with Judging Amy, which wasn't bad to watch, but I dreaded her phone calls during every commercial break
"did you see that?"
"what did that mean?"
"what do you think will happen?"
right now, my husband is driving me crazy with all new craptastic shows......

99% of reality TV (100% if you don't count funny video shows), 100% of soaps, 100% of sitcoms, and most regular TV dramas fall into the "please, let it die" mold.
