Are You Afraid of the Dark?

Sealab 2021/ATHF

*I know, it's coming back in '07

Futurama's coming back in '08, actually. Sealab 2021 ended too fast, though it pretty much turned to crap about one and a half seasons after Harry Goz (Captain Murphy) died.

Aqua Teen Hunger Force is still very much around. They're in the process of making a full-length film and the next season (the past season was just a few episodes to move it along).

I wasn't sure if it was '07 or '08; it's good either way as long as it's coming back. There's nothing like watching the old Sealab seasons and remembering how great the show was in the Harry Goz days...it just wasn't the same after that. In fact, it was pretty much like the X-Files after Mulder left.

Aqua Teen Hunger Force is still very much around. They're in the process of making a full-length film and the next season (the past season was just a few episodes to move it along).

That's cool; I haven't seen much Adult Swim since I bought the Futurama DVDs, but that's great news. Finally, something to fill that 11:00-1 time slot on weekdays...

You can't do that on Television

Greatest American Hero

Everwood (yeah, the "season finale" became the "series finale" thanks CW for deciding to bring back crappy 7th Heaven and cancel an actual good show:headbang: )

that's my very short list.
Rasselas
07-08-2006, 22:02
Dangermouse
Count Duckula
Pingu (I know it's still on but they changed the theme tune and it's just not the same anymore :()

1: Yeah, it was kind of sad (though the episode where Sealab went to war was the best shit EVER). And the X-Files wasn't total shit after Mulder left, and what's-his-name was good and all, but his part was just so formulaic. And the writing really plummeted...

2: Yeah, it'll be nice to have fresh ATHF back. Hopefully there will be more Carl/Meatwad episodes. :p

And The Adventures of Pete & Pete is seriously one of the best shows ever made. The writing was great, the actors were flawless for their roles, and the production was excellent. It's a classic.

Hmm ... can't decide if you people are all that young or I'm just that old. I know, I'll put it down to you not being Americans for the most part, yeah, that's the ticket ...

I plan on missing The West Wing this autumn when it doesn't come back.

So many shows I like from years ago are on cable in endless repeats, like M*A*S*H and the whole Law & Order franchise.

I miss Moonlighting (Cybil Shepherd and Bruce Willis (with hair!), but only before their characters slept together) ...

I liked Cybil's sit-com that came after Moonlighting ..

The original Twilight Zone (but Rod Serling died, so what are you gonna do?) ...

Northern Exposure

Can't think of any others, I'm sure I will later.

Animaniacs: One of the best cartoons ever, Pinky and the brain are actually just a skit from this show arent they? I love the songs, looked up a bunch on youtube the other day

John Doe: The producers built up so much suspense and loose ends...They didnt know how to fulfill them, so it just got lame and they stopped trying.

X-files: The old ones with mulder and scully, when I see reruns on sci-fi Im shkocked at how good that show actually was.

Mostly Cartoons...
Doug (before Disney took over)
Sonic SatAM (not to be confused with Sonic X (http://assets.jolt.co.uk/forums/images/icons/icon13.gif), or that other Sonic series from the 90s. The latter was good, albeit corny)
The Megaman cartoon that ran in the 90s (Cannot remember its name!)

VR Troopers - it was like this Power Rangers spinoff, bizzare as hell.
Smunkeeville
08-08-2006, 00:06

it used to be good.

and.... Rocko's modern life, although I don't know if I am remembering it better than it was, because I used to think that Ren and Stimpy was great, but recently I found an old VHS of when I used to record it and it was kinda stupid and pretty gross...........maybe I just grew up :(

Married with Children. Nouf said.
Titus. His girlfriend did start to get rather cliche (whiney begger), but they had things like "Psycho Bitch Cam" and "I gave up alcohol at age 17".
Unhappily ever after. Similar feel to Married with Children.
Greg the Bunny had its moments.
The Black Forrest

For my own tastes, I find I watch a lot of TV on DVD after it's released. Easier for my schedule and such.

That being said, I was really pissed off how they ended Dark Angel and Angel (the non-dark angel, the one with the vampire... all right, you know what I mean.)
