Had 'em for about a week. No, I didn't put jedi :( Instead I put flying spaghetti monster. I considered that whilst jedi is funny, FSM goes further in the good fight vs Religion.

I would prefer a boomerang sword... one that always returns to the thrower.

Except one has catch it properly, or else ... you could hurt.

Lol, I wouldn't even try to catch one. I wouldn't even throw it :p

I think our family has the census. I like surveys and stuff, don't ask me why.
... maybe it gives me the false impression someone cares about me :( :p
I'd rather have a blaster that shoots lightsabers. The lightsabers are double bladed and they have an axe at one end which has swords for blades and at the other end is a mace and chain. Each spike of the mace is another lightsaber.

I tried once and well, guess what? Didn't come back. The traditional ones are wooden but new ones you buy in shops are plastic. There are hunting boomerangs - huge ones which are designed to kill animals and people.

That would reduce you speed a lot, and probably would have low ammo/a long recharge rate... every weapon has a downside. Except the TNT nunchaku gun. Or the Boomerang Saber... because that blade always return safely to the thrower. No pain there.

I haven't see our form yet ... been waiting. Thinking of putting Sith as a religion if it does turn up.

Or the opposite: Jediism!:p

It was a holiday today, so the census delivery folks might come tomorrow. We do have a locked fenced house (due to some people who don't ask when they want to enter the house) and I think that causes a few problems. :p

15 pages? and they expect people to bother? At our last census one of the comments stats nz made was about how much effort they go to to keep the pages down to only a few pages, while still getting all the information they want.

Luckily, our census is but every ten years. I'm free from having to report that I exist until 2010.

My clock says it's the Eighth now.
I haven't got the form.

Yep, it's a tragic fuckup.
All my suspicions about our Federal government misusing the Census data are dispelled.
My darkest suspicions about our Federal government doing anything are dispelled.
My neighbour cared enough about this to call the Census Bureau. She was told that her (and presumably my) census collector was attending a Team Meeting yesterday (clock just ticked over, she told me this six hours ago).
Got that? Day before the census, census collector was unable to explain not delivering the form, because she/he was in a meeting.

They're going to fake it. Census 2006 is our first "estimated census" due to unavoidable administrative complications.

EDIT: 2 things: (1) I'm going to be a Muslim this year, simply to correct the effect of the thousands of muslims who don't trust the Census. There's nothing I can do to counteract their claiming to be CoE, but I can at least take their place.
(2) That was a tragically long delay on the edit. You guys in the Deakin Centre really made a huge mistake insisting on Amiga Power for your surveillance centre.

I could be wrong. Perhaps the census will happen a bit later today.

How do we hand in the census forms? Is there an office near randwick? :headbang: why didn't I check this shit out already. Better finish filling out the form...

Yes. And they're filled out, ready to be collected again.

I urge you, in the name of all decent economists, to fill yours out properly!

Hey, Neu, I checked out your pics. I think I lived not far from you. Also, I think some of my friends live practically next door. You're like wedged between Ipswich and Brissy, right?

It's the bit just above the word "Mogill" in the West. So yeah, you could say that, although strictly speaking we're part of Brisbane. I don't think Ipswhich starts until you go across the river.

I could have filled the census out yesterday, but I didn't feel like it.

I wonder how many Jedi you have now. :)

My problem with this is that "Jedi" are the followers of a religion, not the religion itself.

Just did mine on the internet.

I hope the "no religion" answers win the religion stakes. I know people who put Sith as theirs.
