Has anyone here on NS ever seen Histeria? It was a show that kinda disappeared from TV. I loved it, and it taught me all I needed to know for all of my US and Global history classes. So, anyone seen it?

I was so young when I watched it, loved it alongside Animaniacs. Oddly I was thinking about it earlier today wishing I could see it again.

It was an ok show. At first I was prejudice against it, but then I watch a few episodes and liked it. History bites is alright too.

No, and the misspelt title is making me twitch. I get the attempt at jeu-de-mots, I just think it's bad.

I loved Histeria when I was young because I had an interest in history and I could also understand some of the jokes not to mention it taught me alot. I remember I used to record every episode on tape and watch it later.

We call them 'puns' - and you're right; it's bad.

What I find most hilarious about it was how the show was supposed to be for kids, but a lot of the jokes were aimed straight at adults. "My Buddy Stalin" is one of the skits that highlights this point.

"She didn't like playing with boys."

Really wierd this thread popped up. My mom mentioned the show on the phone when I talked to her a couple weeks ago, and I was thinking about it earlier.

It was surprisingly accurate in its history portrayal, especially for a cartoon.

this thread is obviously lifechanging. 3 people on 1 thread thinking about the same tv show that seemingly disappeared from the face of the earth. coincidence? i think not
