How long would the Earth last if it was suddenly turned into pure, clean, delicious chocolate? (Don't bring in the atmosphere or any smart comments like that.)
About a century, and we'd all be buggered after that.

Not long, bacteria and insects would devour it soon enough. Perhaps a month.
It would probably last forever; it'd be damn hard to eat the outer layers of chocolate since they'd probably be frozen to temperatures hundreds of degrees below freezing. After all, there probably wouldn't be much of an atmosphere anymore and the sunlight simply wouldn't provide enough energy to melt it all.
