It's a generally agreed upon principle that when Pat Robertson says something the opposite is true. What confuses me is that now he's stating that global warming is taking place and we have to take action. I no longer know what to believe!

He's pandering to that belief. His PR people told him, "Well, Jesus says global warming can't be true and people believe the opposite of what you say, so I think it's time you come out and say global warming is real so that people will stop believing in it and start believing in Jesus."

That one threw me too. He's so whacked out sometimes, it's hard to imagine that he's finally latched onto something that isn't hysterical armageddon hyping.

it's ok, because his reasoning for coming to that belief is still wrong. though i must admit that i am tempted to believe that it is not actually hot outside currently.

At 76, you'd think he'd at least be able to just think about the weather changes since he's been alive...I know that alone makes a lot of older people believe.

Stop there and save yourself a lot of embarassment. It could mean the end of the world (as we know it) and knowing Patty, he's probably hysterical about it. The shoe fits :p

Kind of like he's got alzheimer's in reverse? You know, because he was nuts to begin with, so he had nowhere to go but up.
