I know. I know. There have been thousands of these. But im very curious. How Bush's action have effected everyone's opinion of him, on the entire political spectrum. In the poll, when I refer to independant, that includes libertarians, green party members, etc. Also, post things you think bush has done to help the US, and Hurt. And lets not put ALL the focus on Iraq.

Me:

Bush

Good:

-Tax Cuts

-Unemploymet Rate Reversal

-Support of Israel

-Despte my belifes, he was right for the renewal of the patriot act

-Family values, Religous freedom, and Decency

-Christian Values (god im gonna get chewed ALIVE)

-Border Security

-Liberation of Afganistan

-International trade support (NAFTA namely)

Bad:

-Iraq war (kinda)

-Corporate Freedom to the extreme, or where it is illegal (Enron)

-Stem Cell Research ban

-Abortion Ban

-Lack of funding for universal healthcare

-Misproporsionate wages 9An average CEO in the UK makes 14 times more than the average worker. the average american CEO makes 500 times+ more.)

-Tax Shelters

Well i tried to post a poll with this, but for some reason, it wouldnt. Godammit. I cant edit a poll in either, so please state in your post, ______ against or for Bush.

Bushes actions regarding signing statements is illegal, and unconstitutional.
He spits on the very thing he swore to uphold.

THE LAW.

What could possibly be worse than a president who breaks the laws he signs?

Oh..I know...how about one that unjustly invaded a third world nation, on false information, and misdirection, and refuses to even admit he was wrong?

Or...how about one that uses his first veto on a bill to fund stem cell research, one that former First Lady Nancy Reagan approves of?

Or...how about the same guy who has put his nation so far into debt, that our grandchildren will still be paying off the bill?

I dont think I need to say any more.

I am an unaffiliated left-anarchist and I strongly oppose Bush.

I am opposed to pretty much all the major policy decisions he has made during his term, including some of the ones that attracted near-unanimous support.

I'm a classical liberal and am overall opposed to the policies of President Bush. I tend to support his economic and trade issues and oppose his social and foreign policy issues.

I am a libertarian capitalist; I am largely indifferent toward George Bush.

I think he's been a lousy economic steward, which is his primary job. Those steel tariffs early on were absolutely appalling. You can't restrict one of the commanding heights of the economy like that and expect positive results. He's far too responsive to the business lobby, and his spending has been out of control.

It's like you only elect a good President every second try.

Nixon: Good
Carter: Bad
Reagan: Good
Bush: Bad
Clinton: Good
Bush: Bad

(I skipped Ford because you didn't elect him)

That said, I think his two major opponents (Gore, Kerry) would have been worse. So I'm indifferent.

I am an American who would probably be a Social Democrat if such a thing existed in this country, and I am digusted, angered, and embarrassed by, ashamed of, and wish we could be rid of George W. Bush.

What has he done to hurt the nation? : eroded our liberties, offended our allies, ruined our international credibility, hamstringed scientific research, sown fear for political gain, broken the law more than once, and attempted to cover it up, reputiated [sp?] treaties and international law, created record budget deficits...

How has he helped? He hasn't.

I support Bush on most levels, but I don't see eye to eye with him on some issues, such as border security (There should be a massive wall there), socialism, the GWOT (Iraq AND afghanistan? Howabout Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan,NK....)

He's pussyfooting around.

But, in the 8 6 years he's been in office, no new gun control laws, no more playing nice with the UN (teh BOLTINATOR!11!!!11) Etc.

I am American Conservative/Religious/Right/Partime pirate/pillager and I support Bush. Hey, I even voted for him in the 04 elections.
