I thought I'd share the link to this somewhat extraordinary institution with all the aspiring artists here on NS... remember, even if our works might be pointless and ugly, we might still see them hanging in a museum one day. Isn't that a comforting thought? :D

I've just been inspired to glue soda bottles and plastic sporks together and call it a sculpture.
hey! my kids do that.
It's called 'junk art' and it's a perfectly viable medium (grab what you can before I throw it away wash it add some glue and glitter and give it to the grandparents.)

we have been doing this for years..... or I have, I started doing it when I was about 9
you wanna see one of my kids' creations? she did this one back in May, it's called "woman getting highlights" (note the foil on her "hair)

I love how the artist obviously can't do hands, so just left the canvas blank where their hands should have been.
And that the mother looks like she's got tubes coming out of her nose.
Wait, I think they're meant to be cheekbones.
Or are they?
