The game is pretty simple! Tell us your favorite dessert dish, link a picture and some recipes! Maybe we'll find a new favorite dish.

I'll start.

My favorite dessert is called Death by Chocolate.

My tooth is far too sweet to be able to pick one.

Plus, it entirely depends on mood. Sometimes somthing uber-chocholatey is needed, sometimes somthing light and creamy...

Mmmmm...

My favorite dessert is called Death by Chocolate.

my God the picture makes me want to vomit!

give me good old English rice pudding any day (though oddly enough you cant find any pictures on Google so You'll have to settle for a can: http://www.english-shop.net/catalog/images/weightwatchersricepudding.jpg) I always like to eat from the can so I feel manly grrrrr:)

cooking instructions:

1a) to prepare cold: buy can of rice pudding open and eat (add things to preference though a safe is Jam)

1b) if you want it hot heat in saucer until it bubbles pour into bowl eat (add things to preference though a safe bet is Jam)

Banana Ice cream massacre, hands down.

Put some of these (http://www.tarnfleck.net/seiten/11tx/keks.jpg) in a bowl, crush them, add ice cream, preferably chocolate (http://www.marions-kochbuch.de/index-bilder/schokoladeneis.jpg) to your liking, add the prepared cinnamon bananas (slice banana lengthwise, fry in pan with butter, sugar & cinnamon until brown - I mentioned those, didn't I?) and top off with whipped cream.

Disclaimer: Eat at own risk.

In the summer months I usually like fresh fruit, sorbet and the like, but recently I've been craving amaretto cheesecake. No pictures, but here's the recipe (is it sad that I know this by heart?):

3/4 cup graham cracker crumbs
1/2 cup slivered almonds, toasted and finely chopped
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
3 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
2 eggs
1/3 cup amaretto
chocolate amaretto glaze

- Preheat oven to 300°F. Mix almonds, graham cracker crumbs, sugar and butter; press firmly on the bottom of a 9 inch springform pan.
- Beat cream cheese until fluffy and airy, in a large bowl. Gradually add sweetened condensed milk and beat until smooth (DO NOT OVERBEAT). Add eggs and amaretto, mixing well.
- Pour into pan and bake about one hour or until center is set. Cool completely and drizzle with chocolate amaretto glaze. Keep chilled.

Chocolate amaretto glaze:
1 square unsweetened chocolate (1 ounce)
1 tablespoon butter
salt
3 or 4 teaspoons boiling water
1 tablespoon amaretto
3/4 cup powdered sugar

- Melt chocolate in a small saucepan with butter and a pinch of salt. Stir constantly, until smooth.
- Remove pan from heat and stir in water, sugar and amaretto. Stir until very well blended.
- Drizzle immediately on cheesecake.
