Any other NationStates dreams?

I had an odd dream about NationStates last night:

I dreamed that I was at NationStates, and I had received a telegram. the name of the NationState which sent me the telegram is unknown, but I do know that the telegram's author is an unidentified young man in his late teens or early twenties.

He has a strange request of me. You see, he has a crush on a girl. The man knows that I will be going to Burger King for a meal in the near future. He also knows that the girl he has a crush on will also be there. I was asked to tell the girl, is never identified, that the young man has a crush on her. For some reason, I wait several days before replying, but when I finally, did, I agreed to the request.

The dream shifts to a local Burger King restaurant. I am seated at a table to one side of the room. A few tables away from me, I see two girls. One of them is about 5'6 with chestnut-brown hair pulled into a ponytail. I seem to instinctively know that she is the girl I need to talk to. Shortly thereafter, I walk over to her to tell her what I need to. But at the last moment I lose my nerve, and I shamefully walk out the restaurant having let me fellow NationState member down.

The dream then shifts again, and I am back at NationStates. I see that I have a reply to the telegram. It is the young man thanking me for agreeing to tell the girl about his crush. I somehow cannot bring myself to tell him that I failed to do so. But a few days later, I swallow my pride, and the dream ends with me beginning to type a response.

Now there is no doubt on my part that I probably have been spending too much time at Nationstates.net. In response, I shall shortly be reducing the rate at which my two NationStates receive issues. But I just wondered if I am alone in having dreamed about this site, or if anyone else has experienced this.

i had a dream with Carisbrooke in it the other day. thinking about it, WYTYG might have joined us on the boat, too.
it was round cari's house, and glitziness' family and my family had to meet there, and cari took us all out on her boat, and it was sunny, and it was a big flat boat with tables and chairs... and i think wytyg was there after all... and..... then we had to go back in because it was too sunny and everyone was getting too hot :)

its not unusual for me to dream about glitziness, i might add... but not in an NS sense ;)

Awesome.

I've never had any dreams about NS but my normal dreams are also unbelievably... surreal. Btw, great Rush reference in your user location, I love that band.

All of my dreams are surreal. It's just that some of them are like I'm not even dreaming at all (just like last night's).

And yeah, Rush kick ass. I'm listening to a vinyl rip of my Hemispheres LP at the moment. :D

Dude, all my dreams are mostly realistic, I actually believe they are happening despite the complete absurdities. It's like... psychedelic and surreal. Oh, and right now I am listening to Hemispheres, Jacob's Ladder and 2112. BEST. BAND. EVER. Rock on!

A lot of my dreams are of the survival horror sort. It's me running like hell from huge mechs and whatnot, usually with no weapons whatsoever. And I always seem to stay alive until I wake up. Wits over weapons, eh? :p

I've got 2112, A Farewell To Kings, Hemispheres, and Moving Pictures on vinyl, all of which are original pressings. Good stuff.

Let's just say one thing about my dreams: they are TOTAL mindfucks. I can't even begin to describe what sort they are. I haven't had a survival horror dream in a year or two.

I have 2112, Hemispheres, Caress of Steel, Fly by Night, A Farewell to Kings, Moving Pictures, Permanent Waves, Power Windows, Feedback and Retrospective. No vinyls, unfortunately.

I would not doubt that. But I only did that in the event somebody actually was curious about the content of my dream.

I can't go even a week without having a survival horror dream... Last night's was terrifying (which makes it all the more fun). I haven't had a dream about NS General or any NS'ers in months.

You really should invest in some good-quality Rush records (at least in Ex- condition). The guys do some great remastering work, but they're still nowhere close to the originals. CD's just don't cut it (low envelope, super-low frequency range, low resolution...).
