I made a list of my priorities last night, and then a list of what I do everyday from wake up to go to bed and everything inbetween. It seems by looking at both that things way down on my list of "important" get the most time, and things near the top don't get any.
I have a feeling that this is somewhat normal, but in any case, I have to make some adjustments.
I was wondering if you guys did the same thing if you would see such a discrepancy.
What do you think takes the most time out of your day? Is it your top priority?

My son pretty much takes the brunt of my time nowadays. *nod*
And yes, he's my top priority. :)

top-priority things are often things that are intimidating, or that you may have put off and are now stressful *and* intimidating (so putting it off more and doing stuff further down the list is easy)
the most time out of my day?... i generally try to set myself one main priority (say, 10, on a scale of 1-10) and then everything else gets put way down at between 2 and 5... so yes, in work terms my top priority takes the most time but that's because i don't allow room for much in the way of other priorities :P

yeah, my kids were second in my time spent, my chores were 5th (kinda gross when you think about it......)
I figured out that I spent 5 hours yesterday with my kids and 7 hours doing things for people I don't even like. 3 hours on things I do like, and 1 hour cleaning house.
oh, and apparently I forgot to eat again yesterday. :(
