I'd keep wearing the pants. I'm not Catholic, and it's debatable if I even have any religious faith at all. I'll know for certain later, but right not just isn't the time for me to worry about it.

Also, we're assuming that due to Freedom of Religion the US at least, as well as all countries with a catholic majority are making it legal not to wear pants.

In some places pants are underpants and they mean trousers instead of pants. It gets a little confusing.

I'm a Protestant, so the Pope can say whatever he wants, I'm not bound to that.

See, this is interesting. So far all of the Catholics that voted would defy a papal order to surrender their trousers. So therefore, apparentally papal command can be disobeyed. Kinda shoots down the contraception argument, doesn't it?

Pantsless Catholics? Suddenly I'm imagining a sort of a Night Of The Living Dead scenario, only with streets full of blank-eyed Catholics who are all nude from the waist down...

Though I suppose that the Pope does have some killer fashion sense. Any guy who can pull off those hats of his is a force to be reckoned with.

This would give me yet another reason to mock catholics.
