I'm not a Kurt Russell fan by any means, but it's gotta be Tombstone for the overall cast. I normally hate Val Kilmer too, but he did well in Tombstone, I thought.

The best movie starring only Kurt Russell is probably that one where he's the mindless government zombie soldier.. I don't remember the title.

Yeah, I loved Tombstone. Awesome movie. I think Doc Holiday was Val Kilmer's best work. But he was good in The Island of Doctor Moreau.

Kurt Russell? Wasn't he at his peak in some of the Disney movies he made as a kid? I'm thinking "It Happened at the World's Fair" might have been his personal best because he had no speaking parts.

Nope, it's just another copy of a B-movie. It's souped up with better special effects, but it's still a B-movie at it's heart. That's why Kurt can shine so brightly.

Kinda fun, yes, but not terribly great. Yep. Doc Holiday is one of my favorite movie characters.

actually, Escape from New York was MUCH BETTER than LA.

My vote is for all his Disney ones... "The Computer that wore Tennis Shoes", "Now You See Him Now You Don't", "Strongest Man in the World", and "The Barefoot Executive"

Tombstone was the best listed.

Soldier was one of the worst movies I've ever seen. I saw it and was just mind-boggled by how lame it was. Incidentally, it really shows off Kurt Russel's ability to portray an emotionless robot.

Well sure, that was the point of the movie, what a profound message it is and all that. Except the acting was bad all around, the sets extremely fake and lame looking, the dialogue entirely forgettable, the action boring, as a movie it just failed utterly.

The fact that in that movie, Kurt Russell, tho the main character, is not the hero, but the sidekick. The entire movie is in the point of view of the sidekick.

Actually, if you are talking quality performaces, then you are missing SKY HIGH where he plays a 2 dimensional, arrogant and thick headed superhero... and he nailed the part as if he's been practicing it for decades.

I like both. I like a wide variety of genres. And yeah, he does. I love The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. Great movie.
