Bush and Blair want a multi national force to work along with the Lebanese army to move hezbollah out of Southern Israel and to provide a buffer btween Israel and Lebanon so that Israel can cease fire and some buildings may still be standing in Lebanon...they claim to have put the plan into play with the UN and western nations and are close to being able to implement it .
Deadline for next week .

They are quite clear that hezbollah must be removed from the equation for any peace plan to work .

In related news Iran claims not to be supplying hezbollah and Syria seems to be comming around to reality .

whatever iran had hoped to gain if anything ...seems to have backfired badly.
by hezbollah showing how dangerouse a terrorist group could be , it has put a spotlight on the iranian nuclear ambitions and the danger it places the world and that region..not exactly what Iran wanted.

Lebanon being dismantled on live TV has woken some people up .

So lets hope that this isn't all talk and works for all our sakes .

Hezbollah more than likely ...as they admit..underestimated the Israeli response , it looks like it backfired on them in a huge manner.

could this be the beginning of the end for this type of terrorism ( state sponsored ) ?

What I saw was a lot of waffle. It's a shame we in the UK had to pay to send him there to say it.

To quote My Friend The Chocolate Cake "I've got another plan, this time it'll work..."

Its not gonna work, to end state-sponsored terrorism anyhow.

Hezbollah may get destroyed, but there will always be "Terrorists," and there will always be someone sponsoring them; countries have the most money in general, so it'd logically be countries.

So I guess the fact the two most powerfull ( at this time ) people in the arena of battle uniting in public and calling for sanity....has no weight ?


If hezbollah and their leaders who BTW HAVE already been on TV many times , see this ...what do they think ?
