Canada, because people need beer, hockey, and Tim Horton's.

And people must be made to need beer, hockey and Tim Horton's.

Canada, eh? Their maple syrup, mooses, leaf flags, and hockey will kill us all way before our nuclear technology can. Let us bomb them to a non-hockified submission. Plus an increasingly liberal/Mexicified United States(Mexico eventually collapses under its own corrupted weight and joins before Americans can reject) looks ugly with a hat. :p

I'll say the U.S. overstepping its bounds, though such a thing is conditional; the U.S. may not overstep its bounds and thus wouldn't be an issue.

Heh, I made them a colony of the Philippines in Superpower 2.What's that game like?

Cool, a multipoll! 'Cause, seriously, the world's too small to keep thinking in terms of this or that country. We're all one, now, baby!

In all fairness to the OP, there are several options. The US may be leading the poll, but Canada seems to be leading the posts....

While Iran funds terrorism, people are starved and murdered in Darfur, there are prison camps the size of small cities in North Korea, and Iraq decends into Chaos.....the country that poses the biggest "issue" for the world is America? America-who gives the most to charity. America-who is releyed on the clean up the rest of the world's messes. All because we use oil to fuel the one economy that benefits the most people around the world by buying the most outside goods? And you are criticize our military spending. Lets see the World without the American military......North Korea invading the south ,Iraq in civil war, Africa, south america, and north america in chaos. How dare you radilibs say that America is a problem. America, my friends, is the solution.

Whether or not the actions of the US are beneficial, the fact remains that there is no single nation in the world that compares to the military/economic/political power of the US. For that reason alone, the US is currently the most significant nation for good or ill.

(The world without the US military? There would be no North or South Korea; there would just be Korea. There would be no civil war in Iraq; it would still be controlled by Sadam (or perhaps not, since the US backed him in his early years), Africa IS in relative chaos, and the US military isn't really doing anything in South America. North America in chaos? Whatever...)
