Canada.

1.) Cheap beer

2.) Low drinking age

3.) Beatiful women.

4.) Funny people come from there

5.) some of the women are pretty horny.

And for the potheads, marijuana is legal there.

As a young kid, I was fascinated with Japan and China. Germany and Turkey became big interests when I was doing my undergraduate degree. I was interested in Sweden this year. If I have to pick just one external nation to mark, though, I suppose I would have to be somewhat random go with Thailand.

And for the potheads, marijuana is legal there (Canada).

The bit in bold confused me rather; Finland being in the northern hemisphere and all. And winter generally being the season of snow and short days.

O_O too many choices, erm, I'ma go for either Luxembourg, Sealand, Wales or Lovely, I love Luxembourg cos it's small and close to the Netherlands, yeah add the Netherlands to the list I mean for craps sake they nearly had as large an empire as England, Sealand I like for its obscurity but I wouldn't like to live thier, too much chance of it being invaded by the Germans or the Ducth or even catching on fire, Wales, love the Welsh accent, it's sooooo good, and Lovely, again for the obscurity and also for King Danny Wallace, he rules supreme, best Ruler ever!!!

most places would probably come pretty close to perfect if they weren't dominated by any single idiology or system of belief.

nepal if it had nonpartisan democracy or new zealand if it didn't have christianity. same goes for europe.

and everyplace would be better with little people sized trains instead of automobiles.

well i like forrests and mountains and little trains and don't like fanatical monothiesm nor economic fanatacism either.

3) The most kills by guns
4) The largest amount of stupid lawsuits (like: I became fat because I ate a lot at a fastfood restaurant, so now they've got to pay me)
5) The most hypocrits
6) The largest defence budgets
7) The smallest budgets for education
8) The least privacy by 9)
9) The largest amount of people working in some kind of spy agency thing
...

Greenland is an overseas territory of Denmark and thus not a country.

Hmmmmm.... I would say UK, but I live there.... Maybe Russia? They're relatively uncivilised (sorry to any Russians out there) but have cool accents. If we're allowed historical countries, or perhaps to say one country during a particular period of history, then Imperial Russia (before the Revolution). The Tsar was a nice if somewhat slow-witted man, the country was quite cool and the post-Revolution legend of the Princess Anastasia forms a simply brilliant link with Imperial Russia.

Well, yes, but it's not exactly popular right now, is it? I'm all for seeing the USA taken down a notch, but doing it by getting nuclear weapons and then threatening war if they don't back off? A bit extreme, yes?
How about simply improving your industry and economy to the point that it totally dethrones the USA? THAT'll teach them.
Also, I quite like being able to speak out against Tony Blair in the UK. Have you seen his policies? I'd rather like to be able to call him Tony Blah without getting shot, thank you.
And you have lots of mud in your country too? Maybe we import it when we're running out....

I'd tend to agree, if only because it has sentimental value to me (well, that and Poland. I have a soft spot for nations that the British went to war to defend).
Of course, that includes Belgium as well. We went to war for quite a few countries, actually... Hmmmm.... Wonder if it means anything?
:)
I got it! It means that the British are generous and kind!
(Bet the ingrate French wouldn't agree. Just because we didn't quite manage to kick the Germans out of France before we sailed back to England during Operation Dynamo in the Battle of Dunkirk.)

Norway it is. Yes. You have to be rich to have a night out, cos booze costs a LOT. That spells cool, yes..? It's always an added bonus for a foreigner if you can avoid the hordes of muslim rapists AND the neo-Nazis on the way back to your hotel. Cool and unusual.
