Ok, here's why we need abortion for minors without parental consent or notification. Some teenage girl hid her pregnancy from her folks. While she was away at band camp she gave birth, asphyxiated the human-larva and is now facing first degree murder charges.

Clearly she was too afraid to tell her parents she'd gotten knocked up. If she had the option of an abortion without alerting her parents she wouldn't have had to go through the birth alone and without medical attention, and the infant would likely have been disposed of before it actually developed enough to be self-aware. But I guess setting up situations like this by forcing doctors to break doctor/patient privelage is the more moral thing to do.

Unlike many, I really don’t see a difference between a fetus and a newborn beyond the emotions it evokes in those around it. Since no one loved this child, no one really lost anything when it died.
As I said on another thread, parental notifications shouldn’t be required, because it should be illegal for a minor to carry a child to term.

I'm an atheist. I often work 55 hours per week and I commute between 30 and 75 miles one way depending on the location I'm working at. My car is in the shop, and when I can't get a ride I take the light rail and walk about two miles to get to work. That's in addition to repairing pools in my spare time for some extra cash. If religion gives a better work ethic then maybe atheism gives the best work ethic and you should drop god entirely for the good of your country.

Thats what you get for letting people carry guns under the 2nd Amendment which IMO isn't all clear as in my interpretation a local militia needed to be employed to bear arms to protect the state

The overall murder rate in Western Europe, yes. Eastern Europe, some. Overall crime and contact crime, no. Numerous countries in Western Europe (France, Denmark, Finland, etc) have higher contact crime rates than the US.
