John Cleese, by far, is my favourite Python. Anyone who can talk about the sex life of the mollusc with a straight face is most excellent.

Dang, I wanted to vote for Graham Chapman but apparently I'm too stupid to participate in polls.
Anyway, I found Graham the funniest and most talented of the bunch, and that he was gay just made him even better.

I wonder how many people voted for John Cleese based purely on MP and not on Fawltey Towers....

Graham Chapman followed by John Cleese.
I remember vividly the "Upper Class Twit of the Year" sketch with much fondness.

MAN: Look, I came in here for an argument, I'm not just going to sit here an--
BARNARD: Oh! Oh! Oh, I'm terribly sorry, but this is Abuse.
MAN: [like nothing has happened, very British] Oh, I see.
BARNARD: You want room 12-A, just down the corridor.
MAN: Ah, yes. Thank you. [exeunt]
BARNARD: Not at all. [door closes] Stupid git.

Carol Cleveland.
That was my answer, you bastard.
In the spirit of rampant obscuranticism I will say Douglas Adams (he did, after all, have writing credits on at least one episode).

You want to non-conform, a good answer would have been Neil Innes or The Fred Tomlinson Singers (spam spam spam spam spam...).
My vote for Palin was a win of a proton's width over Terry Gilliam. His animations are still the most recognizable and unique works of art in all of comedy. Plus, he played Car-di-nal FANG, and the Man With A Stoat Through His Head.

I wish i could pick more than one that way it would have been chapman and cleese. I chose Cleese. He made me laugh harder than any of those guys ever did.
But if this poll on who was best after monty python i would vote for gilliam, for all the brilliant movies he made.
That was my answer, you bastard.
I admired Carol for her huge........... tracts of land.

Oh, what a hard choice. I picked Cleese, but was strongly tempted to vote Gilliam. And Idle. And Chapman. And... well, you get the idea. :p
"Well, I didn't vote for you!"
