That reminds me of the Springer episodes that had the Klan/Skinheads/etc. showing videos of their little kids yelling slogans and giving the stiff-arm salute.

Silence!

We should embrace their choice to become another one of our terrorist freinds (who really are just misunderstood and need attention).

Who are you to judge their choice in this distorted view of good and bad, their choice is no worse then Martin Luther Kings to fight against racial oppression. Instead of trying to stop it or discourage it, we should make children understand what being a terrorist is and let them choose their career path.

:p

We should encourage them, thereby eventaully ridding the human gene pool of people with a predisposition towards blowing themselves and others to smithereens.

We need to redirect them to more universally despised targets (besides Isreal).

Lawyers, for example. Or maybe Network Executives.

Perhaps someone should find some clips of the Lebanese kids crying and begging for the bombing to stop that are being constantly replayed on the news here.

What point would that make?

Only two sides? I'm sure you can find plenty of different sides to all the conflict between Arabs and Israelis in the past.

Well, with the pictures of Israeli kids signing missiles, one gets the answer why it takes two to tango...

Am I the only one that feels like screaming then taking the toys away from every side in the middle east?

Seeing as the West is more than happy to sell them their toys, your screams are in vain.

Well it is profitable, and it's not just the west. Russia and China have brisk arms trades too.

The West started it, and the others followed. If the West wished to stop it, it would stop.

But, as you said, we make a lot of money off the misery of these people, so why should we want to stop it?

Thats what is really sad, we are supposed to be a civilised race with a sense of social responsabillity yet we continue to place profit above life :(

Because we all know that a predisposition towards killing oneself is clearly genetic, and couldn't POSSIBLY be cultural. Oh no, not at all.

It's the parent's fault, as always. They raise the kids to think that way. In a different environment, some of those kids might be friends of my little brother. It's all in how they are raised.

I remember 60 minutes doing a program on some sort of an experimental summer camp with both Israeli kids and Palestinian kids. They got along fine and made good friends after seeing the "other" side wasn't so bad. At the end of it, they were interviewed and said they loved each other and all was bliss and happiness.

Then they visited again 5 or 10 years later. Every kid said he wouldn't speak to a any of the kids from the "other side" and stated that the camp was a fantasy and that it was all in the past. All of the Israelian kids had done military service, a couple of palestinian girls had fled the country and those children that stayed seemed incredibly bitter (none of them admitting any sort of "active resistance" of course...).
It's all pretty depressing.

Corny as it was it still seemed like a good idea. But it changed nothing.
