Who do you think should make up the peace keeping force for Southern Lebenon and how soon do you think they should be deployed ?
Do you think they should have the Authority to disarm all militia in the buffer zone ?
Can peace keepers even work ?
If at all possible I would like to keep this thread constructive...even if it means it gets two post .
There are more than enough flame wars ...Lets see what solutions to the problem come up .

I see this situation as a huge chance for the west to gain standing in the Arab world by STOPPING the War on BOTH sides and disarming hezbollah and managing a huge aid program to Lebenon..that they are going to need and need NOW .

Israel will most likely violate the ceasefire (as always), and any peacekeeping force would be powerless to stop them because no one has the balls to shoot down Israeli jets.

So I guess its fine then for Israel to run around Lebenon killing as many hezbollah as they can for as long as they can..because no one can stop them and since peace keepers wont work , What ? do we get... invade.. kill , blow up lebenon ..leave.... hezbollah returns ..invade blow up more of Lebenon..leave..Hezbollah returns again..invade.... blow up whatever is left of Lebenon..hezbollah comes back but nothings really left so they go back to syria . ..Problem solved No more Lebenon .
Why not Just get it all over with in one trip ?
