Youngest member of DM's Family ODed on Meth/Coke/weed Friday afternoon. As a result, she is now a vegetable for probably the rest of her life. So much for a 'happy ending' to the 4 year drama. As of right now she's at the Wichita Texas state mental health facility. Last time I saw her she was eating bird poop off the bottom of one of my bird's cages and claiming it was sugar :eek:

It is, becuase it's my little sister and the one I've tried to be the best big brother I can for her. I've tried to look out for her and help steer her away from trouble when I can, but it didn't work.

She doesn't even know who I am. That's sad.

Well of course you can OD on coke and meth, but weed isn't going to be a key factor in that.

Mind you, one of my friends is the sort who lives up to the motto "Smoke weed all day, every day", and he basically lives from one bowl to the next. He lives with his parents now, so he has had to cut back, but it is pretty damn obvious and apparently they have not yet confronted him about it. He is a great guy though, and he is decent enough even though he is giggly as hell from the fact that the only time he isn't high is first thing in the morning. But if he ever tries anything stronger, he's gone. :(

Maybe stuff like this will show you that life and death isn't as trivial as you act like it is for people in the ME, etc?

I am reluctant to accept the veracity of any of this, not only due to the poster's history, but also due to the haziness on which drug(s) it was (and especially the implication of marijuana) and the comment touching on bird excrement.

Not to mention that people who ODed and suffered such serious injuries less than two days ago do not belong in a "mental health" institution, but in an intensive care unit.

I agree the weed is really bad for your money, and that it is a gate way drug.

But my point was more that weed alone, nor mixed with an actual harmful drug will put you over the edge.

Of course there are burn outs on weed alone, but they wont OD from it.

Well, Weed wasn't what started it. She went to a decent school out in Arlington Tx, hung with some bad kids, tried pain pills, got hooked, tried other things, got 'roofied' one night by some punks at a party and hasn't ever been the same. She started weed later on in that first semester. School administrators searched her locker, found it. Then she ran away from home, got hooked on Coke and meth, and has been a lying and traitorous little girl ever since.

Yes, you can. You just can't breath enough in, in a quick enough time, to effectively OD.

you CAN OD on anything, however, weed, you need more than it's possible to take in a given day to OD and die, and for coke and meth.... well, you should be mooooore careful. you could technically OD on anything but if taken in moderation all things won't hurt you. just be careful and moderate.
