Welp, I will be gone for a week, to Oshkosh WI! I will be camping on the campground right outside the airport (I'm not EAA member) and I will be leaving tomorrow and coming back on Monday. I'll have lots of pictures when I come back!

Oshkosh Airshow, eh? I'd love to go, but I don't have the money at the moment. Plus, it'd be pointless, since my goal would be to record the engines of the vintage WWII aircraft. :p

I hope the pics are good, man.

Just curious how far away people go to see that show, not like it's bad or anything, just curious. My brother-in-law loves going to air shows all the time because he went to college to be a pilot however he applied at Northwest who is in trouble right now so it doesn't look like he'll be working at there any time soon

As far as I can tell, pilots and aviation fans from around the world comes to this event. It's one of the biggest aviation event of the year! The other one being the Paris Air Show in France.

I saw a B2 today that was taking part in the Muskegon, Michigan airshow. It was kinda surprising, because I had no idea an airshow was going on, and I'd never seen a B2 before. The only military planes we see around here are Air Guard F-16s and A-10s.

Oshkosh. Isn't that the town where they make diapers or something?
