Holy Catholic Church of the Vicar of Jesus Christ

An associate and I formed this church. We believe that it is the true church, founded by the fourteenth apostle, Jim. The head of the church is Father Mortimer Silberstein Gelbfarben Schenenbaum. Salvation is granted to everyone. Our doctrine is as follows:

People may have turned away from religion because of the easy vs. right conflict.
Atheism is based on the fact that there is no readily visible evidence to support the existence of God, and that there are sensible arguments against it. Monotheistic religions exist based on faith in the teachings of ancient writings, and on the commitment to a strict moral code.

It is made easier for atheists to reject the monotheistic religions because followers of the main Western monotheistic religion no longer commit to the strict moral code; when the atheist arguments are applied refuting the existence of God, there is no longer anything to be gained by following the religion.
It is easier to ignore it or fight it, rather than to follow it when there is no clear gain.

Therefore,

Jim was a Mechanic working on Chariots for Pontius Pilot, not an Apostle!

I love how you all responded with stupid attacks of no theological or philosophical value. Classic. So typical.

I believe in the events of the Bible, and as a person who contributes much of my time to the study of history, have to because those events are better documented then many that athiests take as fact. I believe that the Catholic Church is the church that is founded by Christ. It is a powerful force for charity and guidence in a world that is being swept away with silly moral realtivism in which one's own petty desires are the guiding force of whatever morality is accepted. The Catholic church is bringing down this dictatorship of moral relativism just as America brought down Soviet Communism. I can only pray for the people of the catholic church in following the teachings of the church and Christ, and for Pope Benedict XVI also. God bless him.

I have a word that I am thinking of and whoever says it first gets the liberal prize for this thread. I will wait for it. Reference this later.
