Your favorite super hero can be absolutly anyone from comic books and movies what not.
Mine's definatly V from "V for Vendetta" He can take like 200 bullets at once and still not die, he's sly, and he throws knives at people. Top that.

Failing that, Raven, a member of the Teen Titans... a DC comics character.

Rogue? She flies and has super strength - simplicity at its finest. Put her on any team, and she'll be the group's muscle.

after the last contest, the two "Universes" merged. Batman and Wolverine became

I heard about that, but I'm not exactly sure how I feel about it. Giving her all those extra powers kind of messes with the simplicity of Rogue's fighting style, I think. Seems like she has the powers of half the entire X-team now...
Classic Rogue or new Rogue though, she's still my favourite of the mutants. :)

Why does Captain Planet suck? Because he's the only Super Hero who not only comes up with stupid ways to capture enviormentalist cirminals, but he's the only Super Hero who can tell you what your house is made of! Yep, brother to Captan Britian...
the reason why I like her?
1) with no combat skills, she chose to lead Sabertooth away from injured people and actually managed to hold him off until the other X-men arrived.
2) she can and has hurt Juggernaut through his helmet that protects him from psychic attacks.

Kyle Ranner the "artist" who actually dealt with alot of shit.
Hal Jordan the most conservative Green Lantern.

Batman is very realistic, as far as super heroes go. He has a dark side, and somewhat reminds me of myself. Therefore, I happen to be a batman fan, even though I don't read comic books.
The Punisher is cool aswell. Again, he's realistic, and kicks ass. He fights against all the things I hate, drugs, rapists, etc. But unlike other super heroes, who give the bad guys over to the police, where the inevitably escape, The Punisher merely kills the bad guys.

Miller's Batman from Dark Knight returns, Dark Knight Strikes Again, and Year one brings a tear of joy to my eye every time I is blessed with his grimy and jaded image.
Despite his general unpopularity, I must say I have come to love Superman. The guy is nuts. He has more complexes than Sydney CBD. Remember that it has been prophesised that Superman will in the end destroy/conquer this earth that he protects. Read 'Red Son' for a bit of a hypothetical preview of how it most probably unfold, sans-communism of course.
For comic releif, it has to be powdered-toast-man from Ren and stimpy. Actually, cancel that, He-man tops powdered toastman in the laughs dept.
Hm...
I'd say my favorite super-hero is Superman, if merely because he only wallows in emo "my past is so horrible" sorrow if it's important to the plot. Just about everybody else just whines too much.
My favorite comic book hero (super or no) is Spider Jerusalem. He's my idol.
