When I'm traveling I generally keep the time I spend in major cities to a minimum. Partially because they're too damned expensive, and partially because I really like small towns and natural scenery. It's also partially because I grew up on a farm in the middle of nowhere, and I'm still not entirely over my unease regarding big cities.

Depends what your definition of Western Hemisphere.

In America, you might believe the Americas to be only the Western Hemisphere, but more or less anybody i know over here includes parts of Europe and Africa west of the Greenwich Meridian.

So there would be...four continents in the Western Hemishpere. Five if you include Antarctica.

But I reckon a better question than where have you been, is What have you seen? (http://www.hillmanwonders.com)

Of the top 100, I have done 19 so far (and I will do another one tomorrow! And 4 other ones in 3 weeks time! )
I've seen four of the top 100, and I have to ask why Pompeii is on the list. It's crap. If I wanted to see examples of Roman ruins I could stay in England. If I wanted to see the effects of a volcanic eruption on a populated area I could go to millions of other places in the world. It's bloody boring.
