I gonna go to a week long vacation at a beach house on an island starting this sunday! :D Finally I can ride my gas scooter around with out problems from my neighbors like where I live.

i spent 10 days in west virginia visiting with my neice and her 2 girls. it was a nice time

next friday the husband, son and i are going to yosemite national park. we're spending 5 nights in the park. im very excited.

depends on how safe the instructors feel. 19 footers or 22 footers. Rhodes 19's mostly but sailing a Jay 22 is a treat.:cool:

I've already had my summer holiday.

One week in Belgium followed by a week in France.

In Belgium we spent 3 nights in Brussels, then went to a music festival called Rock Werchter near Leuven (home of Stella Artois). Saw alot of bands, drank alot of beer, smoked alot of dope, and had alot of fun. 'Twas really good.

Then we went to France where we travelled for three days and then camped in the south of Brittany near Vannes.

Had a jolly good time.

i've never been anywhere in Europe. :( But I'm glad to hear you had a good time.

I don't do anything in the summer but chase my kids around, the fall/winter is when I get to do fun stuff. ;)

Ah, ok, well...you'd better get travelling then :p

I work for 2 hours ever weekday at the library.

Mostly working 40+ hours per week... gaming on the side though.. :D

We were going to make a trip to the Grand Canyon but with gas prices and two kids in college we decided to go to Branson (150 miles).

I've got classes all summer so I can keep getting that paycheck from the VA. I also work a couple days a week.

I am going on a vacation to Upper Michigan/Northern Ontario next weekend. Should be fun. We're spending a day in Sault Sainte Marie (we'll be visiting both Soo Canada and Soo Michigan) and then we're spending a day on Mackinack Island in Lake Huron.

I don't have summer vacation this year...

I'm on summer vacation from uni. As I'm broke and unemployed, I have to go on holiday to the Lake District (england) with my folks to avoid paying for food while they're away. It's a hard life! :cool:

This summer has ruled so far: A week in the Highlands of Scotland with the Uni hiking club, and then 2 weeks fieldwork in Sutherland (even further north than before)

Yay for outdoorsness!

I went to Download festival in June and over the rest of my summer I plan to work, drink and teach myself how to play an instrument.
