today the following things are annoying me

the little text flower thingy that this lady on my other forum has, I could use my mod powers and go delete her sig, but it's not really against the rules, although I make the rules so I could just delete it, but is it really ethical for me to make a rule against something because it annoys me????

I haven't received any mail since last Thursday, I am still waiting for my check, I have 10 cents, a can of beans, some milk that will expire tomorrow, and a LOT of bills that are due, I hate my mailperson, she sucks.

i am personally apposed to home schooling. most parents do not have teaching credentals, and although home schooled children may be better at Scrabble and Trivial Pursuit they often lack the social interaction skills that are necessary when they laeve the nest.

The recurrance of USian threads already

Nothing is annoying me yet today. This is extremely rare for me. A storm has temporarily broken the heat and humidity, and I haven't looked at the news yet. The decent weather is tempting me to go outside, but there are other people out there and they might annoy me. They usually do. L'enfer est d'autres.

i have no shoes that fit. i bought a new pair exactly the same as my old (super comfy) ones, but a size too small. so i continued to wear the old ones, but now the plastic has come through the heel and is very painful to walk with. the new ones are actually more uncomfortable, and my sandals have rubbed a big raw bloody patch into my foot....

Why don't you just have your employer deposit the money directly to an account? That would ba cheaper and easier for them, and a lot more convenient for you. And you wouldn't have to deal with the postal bitch.

yeah, it's actually my husband's check, but his money is my money and blah blah, and he just got a new job, so the first check they can't direct deposit or something idiotic like that, so we were supposed to get it on the 14th, and that would have been 3 weeks after his last partial check from the last job, so we are uh.......really tight on the cash flow if you know what I mean.

I've thought about all my pet peeves and realized most of them have to do with driving. Most of the rest have to do with people being rude. The other normal everyday ones usually involve stupid people. I also don't like people that are so passionate about something, they think you should be too. Like tree-huggers and animal rights activists. I really could care less. Burn it all to the ground and eat em all up. That's what they're there for. That's MY opinion. I have my opinions and my beliefs because I can back them up. If your opinion is different than mine, it's wrong unless you can PROVE it to ME. That's part of the reason I don't debate much on here. Too many people don't know how to debate. And really, what does it accomplish.

pretty much, we have a male carrier when she is on vacation and our mail is fine, we get everything, when she is not on vacation our mail is screwed up, we don't get stuff, we get things that aren't ours, we get things way late, and she told me once "when I am on my period I don't deliver anything unless it "looks important" because I don't want to walk that much"

we have complained every month since we moved here 2 years ago, they don't do anything about it.

We will close on our house next week and get a new carrier, I will be happy to have mail service again. ;)

A lot of things have annoyed me today, and left me in a position that things that would normally not bother me also annoy.

Work's the main clincher. 2 hours on the phone to Kodak for them to tell me that they can't remotely connect to our works computer network. I know that, that's the reason I bloody rang!!
Then there's the patients who expect to be seen after turning up 20 minutes late for their appointment and we've got the next patient in. "But I rang to say I'd be late". I don't care if you rang. Don't ring, get here on time. Leave early if there might be a problem. You don't turn up to a railway station 20 minutes late and then complain that the train left without you!!
Then there's the people who won't have a filling because "it hurts" then demand to be seen when they toothache. Tough, you'll be seen when we have space. If you'd had the damned filling in the first place you wouldn't have a problem!!
And people complaining about "u"'s in words such as colour or favourite. It's the way they're spelt, live with it. I don't (generally, but I'm ranting so...) complain about you putting extra words in sentences when they're not needed. i.e. "I just got up off of the floor". Where the hell did that "of" come from?? It's not needed. It should be "I just got up off the floor", no extra "of".
Or even the ubiquitous "I could care less". That doesn't even make sense! It's "I couldn't care less" if you could care less then you're obviously still bothered about it, if you couldn't care less then there is no longer any interest in whatever it was that you couldn't care anything any less about.

2)My computer seems to be unable to access the Internet if I leave it alone for a while. I can't use web browsers or chat clients until I restart the computer. However, I can ping Google, so I know it's not a router issue...

My friend was annoying me at rehersal today. She kept saying stuff like, "Are we on soon?," "What does blocking mean?," "I don't understand how to write down our coreography moves! Why do we have to do it? We didn't last time!," "What are blacks?", etc. The icing on the cake was when, during Perchik and Hodel's duet, she was like, "Are they in love or something?" I mean, it's one thing not to have seen the show, but is Googling it so hard to do? Grrr..and then she kept talking to me while I was trying to listen to the music director, because the music director was talking about next year's show, which will be my last, and which I would certainly like a nice role in. Gah! I know I shouldn't be mad, because she can't help it, but, considering I was up untill 12 consoling a frightened and abused friend and up again at six to run, I was feeling a bit irratable.

Not getting dinner. My mom wasn't feeling too good, so her and my dad went to the hospital. I have eaten 2 baguettes in the last 24 hrs, and that annoys me.

I'm annoyed that I haven't eaten a single meal since July 1st and can not eat a single meal until August 12th.

I have a splitting headache that has lasted pretty much a week, and my whole entire body aches, plus my head keeps bleeding at random and my arm and ribs are hurting like all hell.

There was a troll on a guy's thread about being depressed and wanting to die. The troll really annoyed me.

On the bus, there was a woman with 3 or 4 kids. She was yelling at them for no apparent reason. One kid hurt himself and started crying, and she yelled at him, cuz he hadnt sat down properly like she told him and then yelled at him for crying. Some people shouldn't be allowed to be parents :mad:

The nagging feeling of insecurity I thought I'd overcome has begun to make a reappearance. that REALLY annoys me. I try to ignore it and hope it goes away, though.

sometimes choices are not so fun. I had to make a choice today, do I want to eat or do I want to be sick for a month? I had already gone 14 hours without eating, but I decided I could wait 8 or 9 more and see if I survived. ;)

I went to the dentist today to get a temp crown and crown build-up done, and:

The Lidocaine shot wore off fast, so I could feel everything. This was nasty despite having a root canal done earlier (the crown build-up happens after that). Even though the tooth itself now feels nothing, the gums have full signaling capability. So when he cut the groove around the edge of the tooth remnant and hit the gum, I knew it. Completely. Yet, if I'd yelled, I would have gotten another bunch of pokes in my gums, and I knew that'd leave me feeling like even more like I'd eaten a cactus when it wore off (it already seems like I ate one from all the shots for the root canal yesterday, and his first attempt at numbing my gums today).

Then he had his assistant try to fit the temp crown on. She did TWO HOURS of useless incompetant bungling around! Making my un-numb gums even sorer! Finally she got some other dentist to do it, since the main one had already snuck out of the office. He immediately poo-pooed the whole system she had been trying to work with, and made an on-the-spot plastic one.

Now, because of this, I will be nervous about getting the permanent crown done.

Tell them you need additional anesthetics

I had to have some extensive filling and capping work done on my teeth following an illness, and I was petrified about it and my dentist was fantastic. She gave me the maximum amount she could, 5 injections in all, all over my mouth - my nose went numb... even just under my left eye socket was numb.

Didn't feel a thing.... fabulous

A few questions on this:
1. Are you taking any medicines? If yes, then that might answer why the LA wore off so quickly and you should tell the Dentist before he gives you any LA. If not, tell him/her its worn off. You honestly would rather have a Crown Prep without any LA then a quick jab?

2. The assistant fitted (or at least attempted) to fit the temp??? I'm guessing you're in the US because in the UK that's illegal. The assistant/nurse/tech whatever is there to assist, not do treatment.

The permenant crown will probably require a little LA, so again tell the dentist whether there is a problem before hand. To be honest though, the preps normally the difficult bit, the fit's usually quite easy.
